Mix compilations

Hey, I hope it is alright if I post this in here...

I'm looking for some newer mix compilations I can get state side (U.S.) or from the uk... I just picked up the new Gabriel and Dresden cd, I know not really a mix, but still new... and I'm still waiting for the James Holden CD to come in from the UK, I know, kinda old now, but still good...

I'm into trance, prog-house and anything in between.

So, any new mix compilations that you TA guys /gals can recommend that I can get close to where I live in the U.S. ???

thanks

I highly recommend this 4CD box. Full of great tunes from 2 decades with a great looking box and a booklet. And ridiculously cheap too, the 3CD regular edition is the same price.

Edit:
Oh, it seems to be sold out now... well, I guess you can get it from somewhere else too...

Some of my recent favorites:
Kiki - Boogy Bites Vol. 01
John Digweed - Transitions
Steve Lawler - Viva

though none of that is really trance... maybe might want to check out True to Trance Vol. 2 mixed by Plastic Angel & Niklas Harding. I haven't heard it but glanced over the tracklisting and it seems much better than recent trance mixes.

Also a +1 on that GU10 album mystery spoke of.

Thanks.

I'm a Niklas Harding fan so I'll take a gander at that one, but the GU album is good?

'Renaissance pres. Sequential, mixed by Hernan Cattaneo'...fantastic mix compilation!

I know this might sound like a fanboy and believe me i'm not but Tiesto's ISOS 5 and Armin's ASOT 2006 are pretty good CDs. I'de say they are better than ISOS 4 or ASOT 2005. The first CD in the ASOT 2006 mixed compilation is actually quite good, the second is so so. The same with Tiesto's...if only they made one good CD instead of two...one good, one crappy IMO.

There's enough variety in the CDs to appeal to you if you like some of the proggier stuff or the more epic stuff, and a few techier stuff as well. It's not like it's all epic, epic, epic as some people think they play...but the second CD, esp on ASOT 2006, is a bit on the epic, epic side...but he does kind of change it up at the end. I also recommend them because they are easier to find state-side. I would also recommend some of Hernan Cattaneo's new stuff like his Renaissance: Presents or The Master Series Vol 1 & 2, good progressive house.
