[Jazzy Prog. House] Daniel DeLarc - Local Kid Named Jonston (134 bpm) [192kbps full]

This is something I don't know what to do with really. Is it good, or isn't it? I just can't decide:

It's a jazzy groovey thing. Not sure it's really prog but somewhat. Bassline is prog though. Anyways, have a good one. Cheers.

Also here's a yousendit-link, should someone prefer it:

Hi,
yeah sounds proggish to me :-)

I think the brasses are a bit drowned in the reverb...but it has somehow a cool feel don't know...

I like the hats and those little "fills"

is that just my thinking or most of the tracks I listened today have summer influence? haha

btw...check out my remix of SvD's Punk'd if you have time :-)

EDIT: and...I love that jazzy feel :-)) heh..now add some guitar licks too

Hiya. Just reviewed your track. Awesome remix.

Thanks for the feedback to ;P And guitar-licks are coming. ;D

I'm thinking about sending this one over to 101recordings, he apparently liked my previous demo but wasn't a 100%, so maybe this one. Not sure this is what he's looking for though. anyways, I'll get back to work on this tomorrow.

another well made piece from ya mate

i gotto say it doesnt have the same sophistcation of your last. i think it is the jazzy main synth that doesnt quite work for me...

nothing else wrong and the sound is well balanced and good.

RickyM: Listened yet? Don't forget me.

rich: thank you. Yes, it's more of a glipms-in-the-eye tune. I'm thinking about maybe completing it under a different alias, because I got more tunes like this coming up, and it doesn't fit the idea I have of the Daniel DeLarc-alias. I love different aliases for different kinds of tunes
