agassi's gonna retire at the end of the year after this open.

but besides that, tryouts for ballpeople are this thursday, june 29 at 4 pm at the national tennis center (across from shea stadium).

i bought my tickets 4 days ago.....i got Friday of the first week and in the second week i got the men's quarter final match. Hopefully i will see Andre that night.

cheapest are first three night sessions in ashe. best days to go are when the matches are quarterfinals and later.

best place to buy is at the box offices at the tennis center. that way you don't have to deal with ticketmaster charges

there is also a grounds pass available during that time, which is good for everything except Arthur Ashe Stadium

also, in the days before the tournament, you can go in for free, to see players practice, as well as qualifying matches

Anyone know how tickets work for the Open? My wife was offered some tickets for tomorrow for 11am... I saw that there are 11am and 7pm tickets... does that mean we can't stay past 7pm???

thats right....there are day tickets and night tickets.

Thank god i have tix for tomorrow night....cus that will probally be Agassi's last match cus i doubt he can beat Baghdattis if he had such trouble with Pavel....but i am hoping....either or i will be happy as hell to see one of his last matches.

Saw you on tv Sal during the Hewitt vs. Gasquet match

Gasquet played great despite his injury. Some of those passing shots were ridiculous. Especially that running, forehand passing shot during Hewitt's match point, best shot of the tourney so far imo.
