"Dancing, Drugs & Murder"- American Justice

On A&E right now (ch. 31). About NY's club kid, Michael Alig (a la 'Party Monster'). Can't say I've seen this show before...

I've read a book related to that scene, @ limelight, and on him... crazy bastard man... he really went down the rabbit hole, and never came out.

despite their past gatien say's he'll welcome alig to circa with open arms if he wants to visit..tho i think alig is still in jail and circa has yet to open..unless something has changed on either account..

The Book and movie are called party monster... the book used to be called Disco Bloodbath but James st James changed the title...
i think its cool how Alig wanted Culkin to play him in the movie and they actually pulled it off.

I just watched Party Monster last night. Had to say...interesting movie . I thought the acting was terrible however. I wish I had caught that A&E special though...I think it would have been cool to hear the real story.

there's also a documentary movie out about it also called "Party Monter: The Shockumentary" where they interviews the ex club kids who were still around, and St James. and other ppl who were around at the time...

I saw the move - but i never read the book!

I used to love that line, I don't know if anyone else will remember, but when the body was in the tv box and that girl eatting ice cream says,
"Shut up, what's that smell!"

hahahahahhahahah
i think sean cassidy and I laughed alllllllllllllllllllllllll last summer at that line!

If you love this sort of stuff, check out a book called "Clubland" and "Mob over Miami" - unreal books, one based on limelight, Gatien, and Alig, and the other based on Chris Paciello, who many of you probably know.
