CDJ setup + Turntable?

I'm thinknig about getting a pair of Pioneer CDJ's off of ebay. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a turntable aswell. I have seen many releases avaliable only on vinyl. Is it worth getting a truntable or are there mp3 download sites pretty up to date enoguh so that I ould get my songs there instead?

I own a Pioneer 3000 "set".. After having it for two days i had to buy a TT because almost everyone of my fav's was only released on vinyl, i bought a SL-1210M5G, expensive as hell.. but no regrets!!

i have a turntable cdj setup right now and its great because i still can use my old records plus new ones that are only released of vinyl (and there are a lot of good remixes that don't get digitally released). If you have the money then why not? however make sure you are buying it for more than a couple of records.

Turntables + PC = Nice.
I love it that way the full flexibility of digital + the percs of good old vinyl.

Yeah, I'll see if there are really enough songs I'd get on vinyl. Am I correct in sayig that the Technics 1200 (or better) is what people like these days?

It's what people have used and liked for 30+ years, plenty of people use the MK2s and the MK5s, not a huge difference between them other than some modifications like with the pitch click being removed on the MK5s. I'm thinking about getting a TT soon as well to go with my CDJ set up, I just need a new table so I can fit all of it.

I love buying records

I love buying records despite the cost. I download to, but nuthing beats digging through the crates and finding a great record. There is still enough stuff out there on vinyl to make 1200's worth it. I agree with the turntables + PC or Mac if you want. I use serato and have the best of both worlds.

I'm gongi to have t buy the seperate pieces of the setup in stages. Darn ebayers push the prices up on stuff. I hope to get Serato at some point though.
