Sonic has four of them in the booth - lol. They are also custom designed, and I think they go for close to $5000 if i'm not mistakened.
They will not effect the 800's or 1000's in anyway, as the demand to upgrade in the CD-J market is at an all-time high.
The only time you will see a significant drop in price for any model is when they update an old one (like the cd-j800mkIII) for example.

i dont really think thats the selling point though, its the visual combination you can add to your sets. cd-j's already take care of the heavy load problem you have with vinyl. if you have a cd album that holds 100 cd's with six songs per, with each song being an average length of six minutes - you could realistically play a 60 hour set without repeating a single track.

he said 2800 US. which is probably right. Best bet is to buy from the states since our dollar is really good. Retail market(and car) have their heads up their asses with stupidly high prices here.

i would die to have one of these, just because my God Sander Kleinenberg is so damn skilled with them, and they're that damn cool... they sure beat the CDJ 800's i have now, and the CDJ 1000 MK 2's im hopefully getting soon, MK 3's are too expensive...and really not worth the Mp3 compatibility and Jog Adjust
and yeah they are fucking gorgeous, those metal jog wheels glisten ! sure beats the cheap feeling Plastic ones on the 800's, and 1000's
only down side is...No In Adjust
though you usually dont really need it, Out adjust works just fine. its just more of a convenience to have in adjust.
