Greetings from Holland! (the other White Party)

Greetings from Holland! I'm almost over the jet lag and Sensation White happens in just a few days now, so wanted to let everyone know that I plan to put a few of the best pics here. Looking foward to the reviews and pics of Armin/ATB too. Ironically, the White Party here ends as the one in LA begins...wish we could all be at them both!

Bastard! I wanted to go to Sensation White, but I couldn't get my flights changed. I won't be in Europe til the end of July.

Have fun and get tons of pics (especially of the girls)!

When and where? I'll be flying into Frankfurt on the 22nd 1pm local.

We're going to London, Paris, and Amsterdam. We're leaving on July 19th to London and we'll be flying back from Amsterdam on August 1. I'm going with Kfrogger and 2 other friends. What's on your itinerary?

Well, Sensation White Amsterdam this year is a lot of House music plus Ferry Corsten for 45 minutes. I wish I had been there last year when Armin played, but can't have it all. Oh, and lots of pics, yes...I promise! I'll put some of the best ones here right away and the others when I get back (I'm on vacation after all, so I shouldn't work too hard )

There will be a video+audio stream per the Dutch forum, but it's limited to Holland and Belgium and must be activated by cellphone after paying 1.50EUR. I also just read a post that digital photography will be prohibited unless you're a member of ID&T's press. Everyone's complaining that there's not enough Trance there too, so ID&T seems to have it well under control.

Yes, Tiesto was there! He played from about 12:25 to 12:55 a.m., a 30 minute set which ended with the worldwide premier of the new theme for Dance4Life: a growing, worldwide project to fight back HIV and AIDS by dancing. Right before the new song played, the MC asked the crowd to dial 2020 on their cellphones and type in DANCE. I did it and got an immediate reply thanking me for the contribution. I hardly even noticed that the remaining balance on my prepay card changed, but together millions can be raised this way!

Ferry Corsten came on at 5 a.m. and rocked the house with some excellent tracks includng "Fire" and Moonman "Galaxia." Then, after a wicked Trance set, the music went back to House (again, yawn). Seems that many of us in America are finally over House and that Europe (or perhaps ID&T) is just discovering it. Seemed like there was a mass exodus after Ferry's set, but I didn't stay around to see for sure.

So, I walked around and got drinks, pizza etc., listened to some old House tunes and then made sure to be on the floor for Tiesto, Sander and Ferry. The view was stunning though...at 11 p.m., the entire floor was packed and a good part of the stadium seats as well. The crowd was beyond nice, someone actually realized they had accidentally brushed into me and moved back insisting that I go ahead of them. That 40,000 people can organize so peacefully and be so polite to each other is very impressive, and I love Holland for that!

Now some pics from the night, will add more when I return to the States after the Love Parade (yeah!) Oh, and how ironic that as I post this review, the LA TA's are dancing to Armin. If that teletransport machine from Star Trek had been perfected in time, I would be there with you!

I have to say this was one of the best Parties I have ever attended. There is no doubt that I will be there next year. Great Vibe, met people from all over the world... This really is the worlds leading dance event. I Cant wait for next year.... In my opinion Sander Kleinenberg was the best...
