i need a program which would turn 192 kbps mp3's to 160 kbps mp3's ..... any body has any ideas?????

i think Sound Forge does that....i never did it so i am not sure..but that prog does EVERY thing else

You could always use the built in winamp plug-in to put it into a wav file. Then use an mp3 coding program to re-encode it at your desired bitrate.

Save hdd space is the only reason I can think of but I`d buy a cd burner instead...
