this place is useless,
nobody ever contributes anymore,
everybody seems to have the mr mystery illness
Personally in trance, Im gonna say Tiesto has contributed the most in terms of bringing trance to more people, holding the biggest events and with a huge catalogue of productions, many of which are classics played throughout the trance scene.
Ironically Tiesto often gets no respect whatsoever which blows away all I've just said.
Probably, it's Kool Herc. Comparing any contemporary "trance DJ" to Kool Herc is like comparing Clinton to Alexander the Great.

| Originally posted by Lira Not offended, but I did say who, in my opinion, is the most repected trance dj of all time in my opinion. If we're talking about super star DJ's, all this Mickey Mouse modern trance scene, we have to look back to those who shaped the DJ'ing culture. And, if you even think of the "but he doesn't play trance" argument... well, neither does Armin Van Buuren et alii. |
Just give up. It's for your own good.
