Copying another artist's name should be illegal

Check this "Sasha" CD out, then look at the reviews. Amazon compounds the problem by offering to pair it with ISOS 5.

Opinions??

This album takes a major detour from the usual Sasha album. No remixes here. Not at all like Airdrawndagger. His vocals, yeah that's right he's singing, his vocals are strong but odd since that is what you hear the most, instead of trance like house music. This album is easy listening music with a little pop. That is why I give it 3 stars since I was expecting more trance like music but got easy listening instead. NOT going to be listened to very often.

and how do u buy the wrong cd... with out knowing which one it is? stupid poeple.. and why are they wishing it was trance? sasha doesnt play trance

This is called natural selection.

Many millenia ago, instead of 2 Sashas we had Ug and Throg. And Ug had to decide which weapon to use to beat Throg to death in order to successfully mate with his bird, Pif.

Ug sees a spear but instead opts to pick up a longer peice of wood akin to a bo staff and charges at Throg. Ug didnt do his research because the advantage of long weapons is distance whilst turning forces can be limited by closing in on the centre of gravity of the weapon, making it hard to land an effective blow. Ug should have lured Throg to him and tried to keep the range advantage.

Ug dies because hes a stupid retard. Ug's stupid genes are removed from the gene pool forever leaving only Throg to mate and propogate his 'slightly smarter' genes.

These people buying dodgy german pop Sasha CDs should at least be glad that the price of stupidity is no longer death. Although in fairness it would solve alot of the worlds problems...

Priceless! Talk about major DETOUR! tfid!

Haha, this Sasha is from Germany and tbh he's quite a good singer

He's also the reason why Sasha (the DJ) is mostly promoted DJ Sasha over here in order to avoid confusion

At least his CD art is kind of cool.

The Real Question is...

If its not trance music or electronic music or something like that. Then why the fuck is amazon.com selling it with DJ Tiesto? It WOULD be funnny though, to buy a cd and find out that its something totally different.

they're paired up because a large number of people have been buying both cds, either in one sitting or successively.

Posted by capricorn15 on Jun-30-2006 16:33:

if they even looked at the cover, they would realize it wasnt the right sasha, and that review, haha.

In the UK, this arguement is resolved based on who was the first to have a top 40 hit under that name, whoever gets it, has the rights to the releases under the name thereafter for x amount of time after the last release etc etc.

Not sure of all the technicalities but you get the gist.

Posted by sandstorm03 on Jun-30-2006 16:50:

has sasha had any top 40 hit in the uk?

Posted by Porky on Jun-30-2006 16:55:

nubs!

Posted by DaveT on Jun-30-2006 17:14:

This guys real name is Sascha, much closer than ALEXANDER.

This Sasha (Sascha) is not new. His first album came out in 1998 on Warner Bros records...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sascha_Schmitz

If people don't do their research when deciding to buy an album...like actually listening to tracks first, then that's their problem.

Who would ever think that with the 6 billion people in the world, there'd be more than one music artist with the same name.

Honestly, this guy has a bigger right to use Sasha than the Sasha we love does. Because at least it's close to his actual name. Although Sasha somehow came from the name Alexander (or should I say, Aleksandr or Aleksandra) :P
