Drunk so i got attacked by birds yesterday!!

here i am yesterday morning, walking to the bus stop to go to work and i turn onto a sidestreet (that i always go down) and then out of nowhere i see this bird fly right infront of my face. I thought nothing of it because i figured, "hey, birds fly infront of cars all the time"... but then it happened again....then again!! and again!!

so i looked up and this bloody thing is dive bombing my head then swooping up and coming right back down at me!! inches from my face!!
so i start running, and another one comes along and teams up against me!! although i tripped and scrapped up my hands on the road, i managed to get away from those evil birds!!

whew!

OMG! hahahahahaha

I'm sorry, but that is just to funny. I have this image of you fleeing from the birds and falling...I can't stop laughing!

DUDE! This has been happening to me all over vancouver for the last month. There is a corner not to far from where I live where a crow keeps doing Mavrick style fly-bys of my head.

I feel your fear!

Maybe the birds are on acid like these ones:

Pelicans' behavior blamed on acid
Domoic acid poisoning blamed for bird flying into windshield

LAGUNA BEACH, California (AP) -- The driver was sober. The bird he hit may have been under the influence.

A California brown pelican flew through the windshield of a car on the Pacific Coast Highway on Thursday, and wildlife officials said the bird was probably intoxicated by a chemical in the water, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

Though toxicology tests take several weeks, the odd bird behavior was likely the result of poisoning from domoic acid, which has been found in the ocean in the area, Lisa Birkle, assistant wildlife director at the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center in Huntington Beach, told the Times.

Birds can be poisoned through eating algae tainted by the acid.

The driver was not hurt. The pelican needed surgery for a broken foot, and also had a gash on its pouch.

"She's hanging in there," Birkle told the paper.

The Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center has received 16 calls of strange bird behavior in the past week, and was holding three other birds found disoriented and wandering through yards and in streets, the newspaper reported.

Those birds flew into buildings and pecked several humans.

Pelicans have excellent eyesight and they are unlikely to have flown into a car without some kind of intoxication, Birkle said.

I am not a fan of birds at all. My brother had a bird when we were younger and everytime he would let it out of the cage the stupid thing would chase me.

Omg its so tacky when Maury has the guests come out w/these HORRIBLE, intense fears, and then he torments them by bringing out the item they're most fearful of. One time he had this woman completely petrified of aluminum foil (of all things), and he brought some out, and was rumpling it all in her face.... you never heard someone scream bloody murder like that woman! He was tormenting her. Its actually horribly cruel and tacky that he did that, as ridiculous as the fear is.

That's the first thing I thought of!!!

The story was funny...I'm sorry Aaron. I'm glad you didn't get seriously hurt though. I would have freaked out and jumped into a phone booth and then replayed scenes from the movie. I would scream dramatically and make a big show of it.

Cale was telling me the other day that he got attacked by bugs at a gas station on the way home from my house. The attendent had to spray hose water all over the car and around it just so Cale could get out and pump gas.

Hahah Jamie I love it. I just finished watching both seasons a little while ago. I'm on to Coupling now - thanks to Andrew's bday present!!

My friend got Season 1 of LB on DVD though so I'm gonna borrow it and watch the extras. I wish I got MTV so I could watch the Hills. Better yet I wish they had a show that follow Kristin...no Stephen (mmmmm) around!!

*end hijack*
