Equipment Help [Hercules Dj Console Mk2]

Planning on buying me on of these..as my first equipment..theres other cheaper variants of this one..called Hercules DJ Console USB and that one got 5.1 output...this one got Stereo..but guessing this ones better..can connect vinyls and real cd players..in case you get tired of mixing mp3s.
And i guess you can use other software than Virtual Dj too..that ones included in package..
So im wondering...i got a 5.1 kit to my computer now..does this matter with this stereo only output?
And off course if this is something good to start with..planning on buying real equipment later..

It'll work fine, it won't conflict with your other soundcard, you can use it with Traktor, Ableton, whatever you want.

Thx for the reply..nice that its working with lots of other programs too..and the Mk2´s better tha the other one too i guess?

Unless the audio you are playing is already in a 5.1 audio format I don't think Iit'll really matter wether or not you have a 5.1 system hooked up. Stereo output is probably all you need.

Anyone got the "Hercules DJ Control"? It is similar to the Console but only does the Midi controlling, no audio parts in it.

Could be a good unit to control Traktor and similar software:
