I dont get it... (MSN messenger ?)
I recently downloaded a version of MSN messenger that continued your text in the original post if the other person hadn't responded first.
When a friend tried to log onto messenger on my computer, it said I didn't have the current version, & it wouldn't let her sign in without it, oddly enough. So, downloaded it again... Since then its looked different. Downloaded it again and again, and even removed the program & re-installed, & I still can't get it to do 'that thing' again. Do I have a different version, or is it some setting I need to adjust in the preferences?
the same thing happend with me Nat when I formatted my desktop and re-installed msn, it works on that computer but not my laptop. Although it doesn't bother me not to have that option, I still haven't been able to figure out why I can't change the option at all.

I found it.. go into tools --> options --> messages --> then click the box that says show my last conversation in new open window
