Why does everyone mix Crank right after Strobelight ?

After listening to some 2006 Deep Dish sets, seeing them perform live, plus listening to other DJs sets (Dave Seaman, WMC Party, etc) I've noticed that in all cases, they play Max Graham - Crank after MYNC Project & Danny Rampling - Strobelight (original mix). What's going on here?

because its actually one song, but it changes in the middle...

because it sounds good?
