Oraganize Tracks into Searchable Database

Im trying to organize my tracks so that I know what I have and where it is for DJing. I have a bunch of different styles, years, names, etc. of tracks and was wondering if there was an easy way to make a searchable database to organize all this information. MS Access or Excel might work. I dont have Access but Open Office Base would do the samething.

If someone already has something set up could I see what you have going as an example. I learn best by copying what someone has and then editing it to fit my own needs.

My friend showed me this list of free music organizers but they seem shady or not exactly what I want, hard to chose.

This is actually one of the things I love about FinalScratch. Everything is browsable by genre, artist, album, date, etc.

I know it is not exactly a solution but it works for me.

i am in the process of setting up an excel document that will list artist, title, cd #, track #, bpm, key, and year...i think that it will make it much easier to find a track when playing out...
