The Wiz will be very happy with this thread.

It's really difficult to get reservations because they fill up fast.

Im getting ready for a severe summerlicious ass kicking at work beginning on friday, should be good times.

A little hostess FYI- if you havent made reservations yet you may still be in luck. Alot of restaurants have last minute cancellations as they are calling to comfirm. Sometimes, by calling the day of, you can get a prime time spot for that very night, its still worth a try.

Also, people that think they can still get a table for 12 people at 7pm on a saturday night need to give their head a shake

However, if you call around last minute, there is often an opening due to cancellations. People cancel all the time - they book a bunch of places when the reso period opens, then bail.

I usually do a few but this year I only have one reservation at Urban on King W in the theatre district. I've been to Urban quite a few times in the last couple of years and it's my favorite restaurant in the city. I have the reso for 10 people (it's my bday) - can't wait.

Stay away from Pony on College and Goldfish on Bloor - had miserable miserable experiences at both.

Urban better not be as brutal at Goldfish was last year or you don't get to choose any restaurants when I go out with you ever again.

it definitly a good op to go eat at some place that would normally cost 100 a person for less then half price! I am undesided right now where i wanna go - but it wouldn't be goldfish or pony! I think it's funny that those are both animals! hahaha

The only thing that I'm unsure about is the service. I've never gone to a 'licious event with this many people. It's a Thursday...so hopefully it won't be too busy.

The food is excellent though. not even on the same level as GF.

The Rosewater Supper Club is one you should try.
We were just there last week and the food and service was amazing. The prices being listed are incredibly reasonable compared to what we paid.
