hey everyone!!!

havent posted here in a while, so thought id give a shout out to the NYTAs... miss you guys

arrived in rome a week ago and went straight to berlin the next day for the quarters finals, then back to italy and back to berlin a day later for the semis.. wanted to share some pics of the craziness that ensued (well, til italy won!)

lol i was one of 3 italy fans in the adidas stadium but i did have my german lei on. i was kinda rooting for germany, cuz i knew how happy everyone would be. but ah well! the signs in the airport already say..

hi z!! its been insane so far!|!! u can follow my blog as well for crazy details and stupid stories lol. well, james zabiela was in rome the day i got there but i couldnt find anyone to go it was kinda outside of rome and im not that familiar with the area.. and the men are really awful here with the harrassing, etc..ugh..

just soccer games for now, next weekend, loveparade!!|! weeeeeeee

That was a beautiful goal in OT, but I just can't take the Italian dive squad this year. It was pretty ridiculous on Tuesday.

Hehe, I'm so jealous about missing the WC. I mean, it's just not the same watching it on TV --- quite possibly the only times in my life that I've had more fun than while clubbing were in the middle of soccer riots --- no matter who you are, you lose your individuality and merge with a mob of furious and/or ecstatic fans on a rampage. *sigh* oh well, I guess I've got my Brazilian freinds to tease about the Brasil-France game. But anyway, I'm def cheering for France in the final, I just have so much respect for their team and their veteran players. I can't bring myself to back Italia b/c of that ridiculous win over Australia. Now, I could care less about Australia's success, but that was simply a bullshit victory.

zidane is such a man's man...in the kind/fair sense.. i hate the italians babyishness and i was cracking up when the ref at the germany italy game basically told totti to quit the diving act. LOL.

hahaa yea seriously..

well ive started the course in Perugia so im back in italy til friday.... then off to berlin again (!) for loveparade...

later on ill post some pics from rome last night... i thought i saw chaos in berlin... that was NOTHING compared to what happened in rome last night..imagine people scaling the roman forum, 600 people in the trevi fountain, people lighting shit on fire in main squares... anarchy took over!!!!
