bah! you can't suck the stick. as long as you place your mouth and lips carefully only around the head of the lollipop, the stick will stay nice and firm.

yea but the head is so small...plus there is stick under the head too so you have the put your mouth on the stick at some time.

I never sucked on them but, would bite them off the stick and chew them up. As soon as all the crunchy shell was gone and it was just gum, I'd get rid of it and start over with a new one. Sour Apple was the best and yes I was a fat kid.

p.s. - my favorite flavor of Dum-dums was Cream Soda!
