which is worse...

a) waiting 45 mins at a restaurant/cafe for your date to arrive

OR

b) driving for 45 mins in traffic to get to your date??

which do you think is more of an effort/not worth it?

if i have to wait at a restaurant for someone, i'll just sit at the bar and drink until they get there.

if i have to drive to see someone, i just listen to music and smoke cigs and drink Red Bull and call people on my cell phone to keep myself entertained.

so i'd probably be more pissed if i had to wait 45 minutes at a restaurant... i'd probably get really drunk and punch my date whenever they arrived and yell at them for being so late.

luckily my date is always with me beforehand when we go out to dinner.

a

First option, definitely.

I've had to drive plenty to get to my date so I'm used to it.

a.

It has more potential to be that you got played.

i'd rather deal with the traffic rather than sit there waiting on someone for a date. i guess i'm too proud or whatever, but i'd be a little insulted if someone kept me waiting for 45 min. actually, come to think of it, i wouldn't wait around that long. lol

at least if ur all pissed about traffic upon arrival of ur date, u can order a glass of wine and forget about it in 5 minutes.

B. I hate traffic
Get plenty of it everyday.

"Bartender...a shot of Patron and a Corona please..."

Posted by Floorfiller on Jul-06-2006 21:49:

of course A. i have no problem waiting for people, but 45 minutes? what was the hold up? especially if i hadn't heard from them like a call "hey i'm sorry traffic is horrible" that's fine, but if i hadn't heard i would probably just assume i got stood up and would leave

Posted by tubularbills on Jul-06-2006 23:27:

option A. if i'm late for some reason, then it's my own fault, and i'd try to make it up. but if my date was late, i'd feel more upset and disappointed.

C. instead of being a slackarse; use your mobile to call her & tell her your going to be late, or that she is dumped for being late.

What if the drive is really that long, WITHOUT any sort of delay?

They require the same effort. If someone lives 45 minutes away, it's not her fault. If she can't show up within 45 minutes of a set time, it is her fault and not worth pursuing.

Posted by AndreaCKY772 on Jul-07-2006 03:35:

a for sure cuz at least you're in the car and you can listen to music

Posted by Ygrene on Jul-07-2006 03:38:

I DON'T MIND IT ON EITHER END, WAITING OR DRIVING CUZ REGARDLESS OF WHAT'S GOING ON I'M LAYING THE MACK DOWN IN THE MEANTIME, YOU KNOW.

Posted by Tholius on Jul-07-2006 11:38:

That question is piss easy to answer.

Fuck A' Yo!

Who wants to be waitin' on those b'tches to arrive?

Think about it... your objective is to get LAID. Get your connies, and get your backseat in shape. Bring some cushions.

Yo!

Posted by D-res on Jul-07-2006 11:39:

it'd be worse to drive cuz youll prolly be late

Posted by vasilis2001 on Jul-07-2006 15:40:

For sure if I had to wait for 45 minutes it would be worse but after driving for 45 mins and arriving there my date would be really ungry so... both choices are really bad!

Posted by metalgearsolid on Jul-07-2006 15:45:

Driving is worse because if its going to be a date where you are going to have sex you get impatient and stress and she might not be in the mood anymore when you arrive.

Posted by Lira on Jul-07-2006 15:46:

B, that's for sure.

I prefer waiting than making others wait. However, I usually call whenever I'm late or - at least - tell them beforehand I will probably be late for some reason.

Posted by CranberryJuice on Jul-07-2006 15:59:

there is no way i would wait a date for 45 min ,a good friend yeah okay......that's pretty rude to not at least send a text or a call to tell the person "hey sorry im going to be late" .....i would have left if i would have been in your situation and ignored the person
