MIKE HUMPHRIES (U.K)

Mastertraxx boss and U.K techno legend Mike Humphries has been producing techno since 1991 and over the last ten years has recorded for many labels and has numerous releases in his discography. His first outings on vinyl were productions on the Belgium labels, 2 Thumbs, Mineral and Growth (the in-house labels of Frank De Wolf). Since then Mike has concentrated more on producing tracks for his own labels such as the sleasy sounds of Punish, The tough and uncompromising label Red Seal and Player Records. Recording under the name "H", Mike was responsible for the infamous World Downfall series and has also produced as 2 Thieves and with long-time partner in crime Jon Nuccle. Together with Nuccle Huphries has also been responsible for some serious live PAs, performing as Cold Dust and H vs. Nuccle. With his heart and soul firmly rooted in the underground Humphries latest project mastertraxx has seen seven releases in just over two years. Including hot tunes from Patrick Skoog, Glen Wilson and dj Mika as well as his own releases. A regular to techno clubs the world over this Friday Humphries stars at the Mercat Cross for this last minute Melbourne Techno Collective surprise event. DJ's:
