This was on A State of Trance last night............What a tune!!

it was an ok tune. not as hard as i would've wanted it to be. got a nasty breakdown which ruins everything

I expected this to be cool, but it's not. It's a normal ASOT tune with a Dane Cook sample slapped in there.

Dane Cook's the man. Sounds like an interesting track.

the track is unfinished and barely mastered

I already dig it quite a bit, and think it's got potential to be big...

dane cook is great. the track's kind of eh. I think they should have used his bit about swordfighting a monkey instead. It would have made a much cooler track.

i felt the sample i used was more relevant to electronic music than sword fighting monkeys. i went to spybar when luke fair played and the sound was so loud i really felt like i lost hearing. i remembered that sample and started fucking with it. i sent a 3 minute idea to a local dj friend seneca and he wanted to play it that night so i hurried to make a playable version.

It has potential to be a great transition track and energy builder into a KILLER next track.

It's not that I don't like the track itself Mr. Jarrell. I just don't like the entire genre it's in.

btw, have you showed Dane this? He'd get a kick out of it I tried to thursday but he has an away message on his myspace.

what genre might that be?

I really like the idea of putting that the samples from that sketch in a track. I'm not a real fan of trance (doesn't make much sense for me to be posting on TA then ) so I'm not too fond of the track.

+1, that's one thing i missed in it

so if armin plays something that makes it trance automatically? i thought it was more electro than anything i dunno. i left out the rest of the dane bit because i wanted to focus on the loudness idea. spybar in chicago is insanely loud and after going there i thought only of using that specific part.
