Teh Movie Thread!

Post what movies you've seen recently or what movies your looking to see in the future.

My next 3 movies i want to see are:
- Over the Hedge
- Miami vice (Looks really good, but quite alot like Bad boys)
- Click

Also looking forward to seeing a few movies after searching throught IMDb earlier.

Saw X-men 3 on Wednesday, not bad. I'd give it 8/10, anyone know if there is a 4th one or if the film was called Last stand because it was the end.

Watched Pirates of the Caribbean today, again not bad...8/10..leaves you wondering about alot of story lines they have to complete.

Cant wait to see A Scanner Darkly and Strangers With Candy but Id probably have to go down to LA to see them. Ill probably go see Superman and Pirates in a few weeks so its not as crowded. I hate most people in the theatres these days. Especially teenagers omg I want to kill them

Last saw "Click".. it was meh.

The ones I'm looking forward to are

-SNAKES ON A PLANE!
-The Fountain (Darren Aronofsky's new film, dir. of Requiem for a Dream & Pi)
-Clerks II

I'm sure SOAP will just be a unintended laugh-fest, while the Fountain is sure to be amazing and Rachel Weisz is hot. And I'm hoping Clerks II won't suck. As a Kevin Smith fan, though, I'm going to see it.

it all sucks this summer. too much hype and too much failure.

I hope A Scanner Darkly blows my mind away. I've read a lot of reviews from people who caught screenings and they've all been very positive.

Firewall on DVD sucked. 16 Blocks was ok. the climax was too played out and the ending was cheesey as fuck.

Same with me. I don't watch much TV or the news so i never know whats coming out. Movies that come out here on base are usually old news back in the states. I usually go to the store to see if there are any new movies out (I rent). A little while back i saw Hollow Man 2 and i was like whaaaa?! Same with Big Momma's House 2. Already on the shelf!

Anyway i just got done watching Twin Warriors. I enjoyed it much! Big Jet Li fan. I'm about to watch the Once Upon A Time In China trilogy Thank God theres a typoon down yander.

edit: grilled was fucking sweet.. really weird yet funny. Didnt really care for the soundtrack at the beginning, but it grew on me. cool flick

i thought silent hill was "ok"

the movie was really kickass and true the the videogame for the first 3/4 of the film. and then from the "revelation" on, it got insanely silly and stupid. The church gore scene was just over the top, especially with the organ playing in the background. I was expecting Rose to start playing heavy metal guitar or something.
