keyboard repair

one of the keys on my pcr-50 midi controller does not work properly. it's a velocity sensitive keyboard, and I can only get the key to work if i push extremely lightly/slowly; any other velocity yields in no midi transmission for that key. does anyone know if this is an easy repair? do you think it's something like dust? details on how to repair would be great thanks

Wouldn't think it'd be a dirty contact as it works when pressed lightly, sounds more like a faulty switch (however they work - ribbon I think). Seems like you'd need a tech to look at that.
