My new radio show on 105.1FM

Hey all,

Happy to announce that I am making my return to the FM dial here in Toronto!

I have a new show called Latitude 43 which will be airing weekly on the new Energy 105.1 FM Shock Radio every Monday from 11-12pm.

For those outside of the frequency range, I will be archiving each show on my website www.djdennishahn.com for download. In addition to that, there will be internet simulcasts on the Energy website which will be unveiled soon. (www.energy105.com)

The first show will be airing Monday July 17th. Hope you guys can tune in!

tell those bastards to get a larger frequency range i can't even pick up the damn signal in oakville/mississauga area. i'd love to tune in if they could work on that.

Sadly thats in the hands of the CRTC (government). It has nothing to do with the station itself.

But there is a weblink coming soon so youll still be able to hear it in oakville

Thanks for the well wishes guys! I was actually surprised and flattered to get such a solid slot so I'm hoping people enjoy the show!

To answer your question Lis, there will be minimal voiceover- just enough for people to feel like there's an actual person behind the decks mixing but not too much where it's not about the music. There would also be the occasional voicetag overtop compliant with CRTC regulations.

I'll also be making an effort to keep the show eclectic... you won't hear the same tracks week after week or the same sound either- I'll be venturing into the housey and techy elements just as I do in my live sets to keep it fresh. There's nothing worse than a radio show with virtually the same tracklists every week!

it's in the works. for now you can use the shoutcast, Real Audio or the media player feed, through the energy 105 website.

This is what I like to read. I think variety is so important for a radio show, and yet so many djs just do get it.

Anyways im serious. I bet the "idiot" lighting fireworks was probably the most italian out of all of them

btw jayx1 a friend of ours was listening to that station last week when you said you had a show and it was euro energy mix stuff - is that what you do???

Hopefully they keep it to 10 oclock as scheduled tonight. You will be able to tell by the music and by the Tekfonik voiceovers.
