Italian Pasta Wins Over French Wine

Congratulations Italy For Being THe New Crowned Champions Of The Soccer World Cup 2006.

The penalty shoot-out just ended with a 5-3 (1 Remaining) verdict in favor of Italy. So France gets the silver spoon.

Too few goals

Throughtout the world cup, i supported teams that i saw playing better. So, i rarely got a chance to support Brazil, my pre-tournament favourite.

Nonetheless, enjoyed some quality football though far less goals scored this year.

My only grudge against Italy - the defeated Australia by unfair means (With the help of a biased referee and 'good acting').

Even though I was siding with France, congrats to the Italians. Didnt even think of them getting that far, and winning the world cup, not at all.

Yeah I agree, that was very wrong & classless...esp. to end his career. I would have never wanted to end such a great & long career and only being remember as the guy who head-butted Materazzi in the final game...no matter what he said, hell I would have waited till the game was over & then caught him in the locker room or outside

Congrats to Italy though...their defense is truly the best. Especially Cannavaro haha

Zidane wins the Golden Ball for this cups best player...at least that's good for him after such a bad way to end.

Miroslav Klose (the German ) won the Golden Shoe for having the most goals of this World Cup, I believe it was 5! Very excited he won this because he played very well in this W.C!

I know I know.. that COCK was provoking Zidane for the whole game, who knows what he told Zidane, crazy as it may be.. They do show the games.. ESPN and some SPanish Channels show it ( GOLTV, SUR etc etc )
