YES! I JUST GOT BACK I HAD THIS BIG ISSUE OF UNDERAGE BUT IT WORKED OUT FINE!!! I WENT TO THE GLOBE WITH SOME MATES GOT IN NO WORRIES AND THEN WAS FREE TO GO STRAIGHT TO THE MAIN ROOM WITH TIESTO OH IT WAS FUCKING BLISS!!! ADAM KELLY CAME ON FIRST HES A FUCKING AWSOME LOCAL I CAME IN AROUND 11 SO I CAUGHT THE LAST HOUR OF HIS SET AND THEN TIESTO!!!! !OMG AT THIS POINT I WAS SIGNIFICANTLY PLASTERED (yes i timed it well) and the whole imagie of tiesto on the decks coming up and everything it was just awsome some of the tracks i remember him playing was Magik Journey, Mark Norman - Overkill, Flight 643, Urban Train,obsession,Utah Saints - Lost vaugness, Ralphie B - Massive,Windsider - Hidden Flight Nali and Kane - Open Your Eyes (that was fucking Bliss) and finished it of with Dreamcatcher remix!!! there some other hard progressive stuff i was hoping fo ra bit more uplifting (damn i wanted to hear alibi eternity so much and Eugina i was sure hed play at least one of them but he didnt 
) but fuck this set owned so hard i flashed him this white shirt saying YAHEL - VOYAGE and he looked at me and kinda shook his hands like he didnt know whether he had it 
i was like wow a look from tiesto rofl but then he went to his record box came back and mimied sorry so i fliped the shirt over and wrote Southern Sun (Your Remix) and he had this huge grin on his face i think he was suprised someone from perth knew the track lol and he dropped and it went OFF from then on i got huge grins and multiple thumbs ups from the great man himself fuck that owned!i think the only other song which got anywhere near tht kinda appluase was urban train god he prolonged the chorus so long it was incredible then it was julseys turn i mad ea point of staying ont he dance floor for all of jules' set and i can tell you by the end of it i was fucking knackered 7 hours of fucking dancing and what not my feet are so sore even as i write this i have this fucked up ringing in my ear but it was so worth it julsey played a very hard set i didnt recongise most of it but i did get a few gems such as 4 Strings - Into The Night and Tillman Urmacher - On the Run (Ocean to Shore Club Mix) Julsey was great really getting involved with the audience lik ei said after this i was fuckign knackered and sat dawn but then flemming dropped overkill AGAIN and literally as he was dropping it and before i recognised it i was just thinking to myself how fucking awsome was it that tiesto played overkill i heard it in the dutch dimension set and really hoped he played it when he came here to perth he also droppped this mad mix of Definition of Tekto - Area i think it was i only reconginsed the guy going A R E A and it was awsome shit there must be a million details ive missed but im so glad i just got in and had one hell of an awsome time!!!

DJ Tiesto... well what can u say... i only managed to catch bits of his set thanks to my tek loving friends (
) but what i heard was absolutely awesome!!
knocked the pants off armins final set at gatecrasher last year... and thats saying something
Jules came on after him... bottle of wine in one hand, record in the other I left after he'd spun a few songs... there just wasnt any flow to his set... but hey... gave me some time to chill out on the balcony
even alot of non-trance loving ppl have said how good they thought Tiestos set was... goddamn.. next time i stay PUT!!
Jeff Mills was playing some pretty banging tekno for the 20 mins or so i was in the tek room... woulda stayed longer if not for the gay old guy crackin onto us..
drum and bass room was stinkin hot... musta been at least 40C in there... which was a shame, cos they were playin some crankin toons
heard the last hour of steve lawlers set, man everyone should see him if at all possible cos it was pure bliss!!
The only downer to the night was takin a dodge pill and yakkin my guts out on more than one occasion

yeah dude my mate got some stuff signed but i he looked pretty pissed off when he was signing stuff so i didn't want to disturb him, the smiles and thumbs up were good enough for me

Mate im not blowing wind up your arse but that was a wicked review thats the sort of shit i want to read about not like inthemix's fashion reviews of events. Your capers have now only fuelled my desire for it to be sat night in sydney. I'll aim for a review as outstanding as yours when i get home, if i can see! Long live tiesto!
haha thanx dude but i was so excited (Still am) just wrote what came to mind i dunno guess it was my first proper clubbing experience and iw as so nervous about getting in and just tiesto and all in perth (im like such a big fan) and it was so cool so much cool stuff happened some dude managed to get his cd of his productions not only to tiesto but the judge as well he just ran up while they were on stage and handed to em they were both relaly cool about it to going like yeah il give it a listen pointing to thier ears and stuff oooo and tiesto really got involved it was awsome when urban train hit he had his hands like on each side with the big lights on behind him and the crowd just going nuts what a moment... and with Nali and Kane - Open Our Eyes aka Source - Shake Shake (a fucking classic) hes like singing along with his hands over his eyes pointing to us to and stuff and then his eyes and then with obsession FUCK he dropped that so well i love obsession and when it hit it was AMAZING fromt he very first second i heard the riff come in i went absoloutly NUTS and what was weird is noone else knew what it was so tiesto just looked over smiled and noded his head man when that vocal btcame in and it slowed down going obsession obsession obsession i swear i was in bliss... i always loved the song but its evern better now (hearing it now if thats possible!) then when he played Dreamcatcher - I Dont Wanna Loose MY Way (Magik Musik Remix) (which fucking rocks too) as his last track hes like pretending hes lost in the booth it was pretty funny hes a really nice guy, jules was awsome got involved alot too! but he made tough faces alot hehe i think its a julesy trademark or something sorry im ranting now
hahahaha oh and guess what i met paul rogers (from the wildcats) it took me a while to figure out who he was but he was up in the bar having some drinks with his female companion and i was like telling my mate who is that (orginally i thought he was someone from our school ) but if he was i thought he was basketball player (our schools known for basketball) and then it dawned on me and i went omg fuck highschool hes that wildcats player! hahahahaha my mate goes ARE YOU PAUL ROGERS i was like you fucking idiot hes having a drink with his date im sure he doesnt want people inturrepting him but later on i went over and shook his hand he was a really nice guy

that was the best night ever, though if i knew jah got in it would've been ever better ! he's is the biggest tiesto fan i've ever known (as you can probably guess from these posts) ! i thought he didn't get in and i started feeling well upset for him... but he was there all along !
i thought metros was severely overcrowded, people seemed to think they could magically fit their group of 8 right up the front, it started to get so cramped i couldn't move at all =\
i danced for the first hour of tiestos set, the crowd was going pretty skitz, but then we ran outta water and went upstairs to get more, and the pill i took kicked in big time(white star, EVERYONE was on white stars, god they were so good), so i sat down at the tables next to the jesters stand and didn't get up for 5 hours ! there was this chick there that downed a whole white star (her first one), and vomited it up, i felt really sorry for her, so i sat at her table all night, she gave wicked head rubs (mmm they were SO good) and made it more fun than being down in the crowd !
and GOD, when urban train came up and stood up and yelled 'OH MY GOD! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!' and then i ran to the edge of the balcony and started yelling over the edge, it's the first time i've ever heard that played live and i went fully crazy ! same with southern sun and the rest of the good ones, damn it was a good set !
judge jules' set only made me get up a few times, and john fleming, i dunno if i was fully coming down or what, his set didn't move me at all until the very end when they were kicking everyone out !
anyway i don't think that night could ever be topped... would've been nice if they didn't kick everyone at at 6:15 !
oh yeah, some guy who was friends with the people i was sitting with, he had this wicked white jacket, and he got it signed by tiesto ! i saw it and totally lost the plot, so did my friend, i was getting up and screaming and shit, it went from like a $70 jacket to a priceless one... he reckons tiesto was really cool signing shit and taking photos (he got a photo with him too)
jah just tells me he got tiesto to play southern sun, i vote we give jah a medal or something, that song made me feel SO GOOD, ahh
anyway it's 6pm and i've still clenching my jaw, and i'm getting excited just typing about this... ahh why did it have to end??!

i've slept since it ended and have just woken up. soooo hungry.
now i know why they call Tiesto a god, damn i was mesmerised just watching the man mix. it was a bit too progressive but when he plyed uplifting the crowed went nuts, he should have agreed with the crowd and played more uplifting. but i can't complain, the set was bliss. sebby was in another room man, i think the music was the only thing keeping us on our feet, sooo tired after tiesto, never danced that hard in my life.

Jah, youre the FUCKING MAN getting him to play Southern Sun. Writting it on your T-shirt now thats a fucking brilliant idea!! I'm gonna do the same!! Thad be so funny if everyone at each different TT wrote to play Southerm Sun on their t-shirts!!
Its great you had a good time all, especially jah cos he was freaking about not getting in. I am so pumped about this Saturday, can't wait for Tiesto. It's only 2 hours, but it'll be a good 2 hours!

Hehehe, I saw Paul Rogers as well and he seems, well, different from normal, with the sideway cap and everything. I saw him when I was standing near the cloak room as he went out with his female companion.
Well, It was excellent night overall, but I think somehow they should move the scene next year to the belvoir amphitheatre or something cos metro wasn't supposed to cater for that many people anyway.
I arrived just after 12, and tiesto was there already. The actual experience of having to see him in person was kinda struck me. Oh well, the best thing of the night was when he actually played for 3 hours (I thought he'd play for 2 hours only). Some of the music he play was pretty new but the rest of the songs that I know ROCKS.
Anyway Jah, I personally think that YAHEL-VOYAGE is Taucher-type song anyway cos I remember him playing it last year at RISE. I only knows that tiesto played them once during his 9 hour set from dutch dimension.
Jules was great although I still prefer Tiesto anytime. The best thing about him is that he made interaction with the crowd, and his songs, well, I was kinda hoping for more uplifting tunes but he played a lot of hard progressive.
I should've post this review earlier but I didn't see the local scene forum so I went and post my review at the normal forum.
Can't wait for the next rave party
