Pictures from St Clair (World Cup Party) -- July9th 2006

holy shit. i have never seen so many italians at one spot until today. there were a few different spots along st clair that had dj booths set up but i stayed at only one: house music.
first to play were the vinyl junkies. then joee cons. then there was a little hip hop set played by double c. flipside threw down a short, but sweet, classic house set. manzone & strong followed. i think m1 played after but i dont know because i already left. sweet tunes all day long. i have no complaints whatsoever.
congratulations italy! you deserve the trophy!

both teams had equal opportunity at penalty kicks so whoever wins deserves the trophy.

No that's not what i meant...I meant that France had a much harder road to the final than Italy did...they had a very controvercial win over Australia too. I'm not taking away from their victory, they definitely beat France...but "deserve" the trophy, I'm not so sure.

here is how i see it.
any team that wins the cup deserves it. they all gave it everything they got and sacrifice a lot to become the world's best.
unfortunately, there can only be one winner....
