A question for the intellectuals

If you were to write the ancient Greek word "arete" in the language it was originally written in, what would it look like?

True, but how would you write Άρετή in ancient Greek is what I believe he's asking.

I'll give them that, but they're still filthy.

Obviously I'm saying all this in jest.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arete_(excellence)

Don't have it on you, anything you own or anything associated with you. That would be false advertisement. All it took was a Google search.

edit: in case you're wondering, it's alpha-rho-epsilon-tau-eta. The stuff you see "on top" of the characters are inflections for speech.

fuck man, thats waaayy to much work. Way easier to post it on TA and let someone else do the search and post the link

If I'm correct, in the ancient times, Latin was a preliminary language. What does Arete mean?
For the wise ones, Cogito, Ergo Sum?

by putting a question mark at the end you are effectively questioning your own existence.
