Question Who was in charge of signing up DJs for Twilo?

I know twilo had an amazing promotional team that dealt with signing up awesome DJs that are impossible to book. What happened to these guys -did it all fall apart - did they all go their separate ways - who kept the little magic black book with all the "right" contacts (as I would imagine there is such a black book - I know nothing about this business) ... anyways if anybody knows - drop a few names.. Im really curious - I want to know what they are doing now - why cant they start somewhere where they left off at twilo?

Appreciation in advance to all replies

It WAS ONE GUY Mike Bindra, he is the one that has a saturday party in vinyl, and he is the one that is bringing paul van dyk to SF, his company is made-records, before it use to be twilo records. That why you never seen a gusetlist at twilo or vinyl saturday, and no guestlists for sf with pvd. There is only a house guestlist. He works by himself he hates promoters, he has the biggest contacts in NY for all this famous dj's. I think he is also the one that is trying to start Glowbana but it didnt work out yet. If you look all of showcases that used be at twilo our in vinyl on saturday, and the big dj like pvd and S&D that bring an enormous crowd that can fit in vinyl are brought by him to different clubs. I hope I answered your question Arthur

wait Twilo fridays didn't have a guestlist??? Then what list was I on every time I went?? lol there was fuzion(which I used to drop names for)...and a bunch other lists.... Twilo Saturdays didn't have a list for a while...maybe you are confused or did you just miss the guestlist table every week? heheh Twilo was notorious for not paying Promoters...some nites they wouldn't get paid...or their lists would be altered....basically Twilo had their own people running the guestlist table...as opposed to SF which used to have the actual promoters running the table... and that's how they cheated the promoters...when they have no control overseeing the lists you get screwed....plain and simple...even SF would do that just not as often.

Shame / Disagreement

No guestlist "special" nights like PVD..well the last half a year or so... i dunno about the house list.. that probably existed..since they have to let in friends of the DJ somehow... but its not know about publicly.. just like at Danny Howells residency opening nigh @ vynil that apperently this dude Bindra braught here... there was a house guestlist (i know for sure cause the guy at the door told me about it) and i was trying to BS my way in onto it...but didnt work

well i duuno i let PVD take this one

The house list was publicly known....call the number and get on...
the only fridays I remember "special" lists as you call them being no good were on major nites...like anniversaries or something....but I know for a fact there were still lists in Nov and Dec of 00 bc I was still giving names to a friend... I can't speak for 01...bc in Feb for PvD I didnt get in until 4:30...and I was soo early in April the guestlist people weren't even there yet when they started letting people in and my memory has failed me as to what list I was on but I know I was on one bc I remember being pissed about having to pay lots of money for the 2 yr anniversary... I duno unless my memory is messed up or something....
