well, you're not providing much info as to what you have set up and done so far, what's your soundcard, etc.

If you don't have a pro sound card supporting ASIO, you need a sound card or hd recording interface - and no, your built-in card is not OK for it. You obviously would need to connect speakers to it (or as they are known in music world - "monitors"). And then you'd need to route your connections within reason itself. I'd try to start small - 1 instrument and mixer.

cool?

provide more info to get better reply.

oh, and p.s posting the same question more than once will definitely help you get more answers. I think you should try creating 3 or 4 more threads, just be creative with your topic headers. Like: "How can I produce like DJ Sammy" or "How do connect my MIDI to speakers?".

This will definitely help you get more replies. One thread is never enough around here.

When i used reason with my keyboard i just told reason to use my Delta 1010 midi ports.
Make sure you have chosen your soundcard's midi port adn then when you load up a reason synth it should play.
Make sure you click on the synth and it will play the instrument you have chosen.
It will not play the sounds from your keyboard and it will just act as a midi controller keyboard.

First of all. Have you got reason working without a midi keyboard? Sounds like you dont know how to use reason at all.

Iv used the reason demo and it was pretty easy to just click and go. I suggest reading the manuel. Also, try follow the signal path and see where you get nothing.
