YEs, I am.. Me and ArthurBK are gonna be there along with about 40 of our friends.. I hope to meet some TAs there (No, not teaching assistants)..
PVD77 - u going there? When r u flying? I previously posted my WMC plans, even gave out the break-down of money spending there..

Damn, I wish that Paul Van Dyk was playing at the Hammerstein Ballroom, I think that is one of the nicest venue's in New York...I love that place!!

I couldn't agree with you more Freeza, i also think that having Paul Van Dyk playing at the hammerstein ballroom would be the best thing for everybody, because it's a big enough venue to held such an event or even for, sasha and digweed, and based on my past experiences like seeing Oakenfold there a couple of times, i know the sound system and the light show would be out of this world so maybe our prayers will be heard.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION:

Exit is by far the best venue in NYC with by far the worst management (@ the door search policy)... as far as the crowd...well the crowd should follow their DJs.... I mean its not going to be factory regulars at PvD ....so is Exit should be the same... true the last 2 tiesto appearances were filled with the regular T&A + B&T + Chinese crowd...but hey that�s only because its large enough to let ALL in -not like Twilo where half of the party was waiting in line outside.... (And as far as the Asian crowd... I would say in ration would equal the one that was @ Twilo)... I would say if you like the rave atmosphere (the more the merrier) then why do you have such a problem with exit? I know twilo vibe will never be resurrected in NY... accept it and move on... I hate exit as much as the next guy - and its true that SF has a better Sound system... but if we as a trance community will get together on a regular basis in EXIT... We�ll support them getting the European DJs showing up in NY (since nobody else is interested in doing this)... and will create our own Exit vibe

every club has a beginning... and since EXIT is the first club to wizen up after twilo shut down - well god bless them - let them carry out a difficult task of getting big name Trance DJ to play in NY and let the crowd part be up to US

Anyways thats my 2 cents...anyone agree?

AS far as Hammerstein ballroom is concerned... it�s not a club and the Security will not be CLUB security. in a way its good -they don�t expect you to have drugs (as much so as the regular club 1's) but in a way its bad because as soon as the thing is over ...you're actually getting KICKED out -physically (that�s what happened to me @ oakie when I saw him there... there's def advantages to the place and disadvantages...oakies sound system was ok at best -if phazon will set up the speakers - it might turn out to be the best bet -but we'll see - the odds are it wont be Hammerstein

Hammerstein IMO is best venue in NYC
However...Roseland is not such a bad one
Now-a-days Roseland Parties are pretty rare

Stereotopia was an extremely hot rave...but honestly after that, the raves in nyc have slowly died. The scene or what use to be the scene is completely gross. Filled with countless amounts of "dealers" with the obvious wearing a jacket inside a party. I Have A Dream was also disappointing. However the venue, Hammerstein Ballroom, like posted previous is a great place to have a party in nyc. Roseland 2nd.
