Best remixes

There are tons of remixes for just about every track. Which tracks were great in the original mix but really shine when reinvented? Also, what do you feel makes a great remix?

Madonna - Hollywood (Paul Oakenfold Remix)

Madonna - Sorry (Paul Oakenfold Remix)

Every remix of Tiesto - Fly.

Edit : Tiesto - Fly (Arcadia's 93 Returning Mix) ftw

beloved-sweet harmony

really liked the original but Kosmas Espislon & Zorz 'Northern People' remix showed how this track should sound like

Oh man so many but what comes to mind now is ...

Solid Sessions - Janeiro (P&K Vocal Mix)
Kalafut & Fygle - 3579 KM (Hydroid Remix)
Alucard - Blue On Blue (Hydroid Dream Mix)
Johnson & Corbett vs Alan M - Ibiza Sun (Alucard Remix)
Ava Mea - In The End (Hydroid & Santiago Nino Remix)
Recluse - Isle Dauphine (Probspot Remix)
Endre - I Kill For You (Probspot Remix)
Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes (Markus Schulz & Elevation Remix)
Vibrasphere - Manzanilla (Jaia Remix)
Tenthu - Orange (Frase Remix)
Schiller - Ruhe (Ayla Remix)
Julien Jabre - Swimming Places (Sabaudia Gabin Remix)
Iio - Rapture (AVB Remix)
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (AVB Universal Religion Mix)

There are some bad tracks for me that I don't like in their original format but with an awesome Remix the tracks give life ... you ask what tracks are great in original format these for me are great in original mix but much better with these Remixes

Well... as mentioned in so many threads:
Flutlicht's saved plenty of tunes, and so has Dave Joy (maybe not saved but made them better).
The songs I'm referring to aren't the best remixes though, far from.
I ain't gonna list any 'cause it's too friggin' hard!

Posted by Ariah on Jul-15-2006 00:01:

flutlicht remixes beats the living shit out of the originals

Green Court - Silent Heart (Flutlicht Remix)
The Mystery - Devotion (Flutlicht Remix)
Marc Dawn - Expander (Flutlicht Remix)
Ian Van Dahl - Will I (Flutlicht Remix)

ooh, best remix, no, gimme a fucking break, all they did was add a clubbier touch to the track and had vera sing a vocal.

yes ... the vocal is the best part in the track for me ... and combined with this melody with the clubbier touch is perfect for me ... the original is good but P&K Vocal Mix is the one ... Haha so what ... a Remix doesn't need to change all the track ... they put some elements that the original don't have ... serious i'm not worry with (all they did) they did exactly what has to be done ... i don't like the others Remixes the AVB Remix is good but this is much better for me.

creds to alphazone for trying. They have a few nice ones, even though most of it ends up sounding all the same

no,no & no

the original 93 love mix is WAY WAY WAY better than the 98 update
and as for 2 & 3, svd took a tune that DIDN'T need a remix and added his sounds and touch to it and did a remix.

when it comes to squelch especially, then the trisco remix that was released when the original was released shits all over the svd remix and the pointlessness of it.
