I saw AVB, PVD over there. Its a pretty cool place. Very big dance area. How come there are no more gigs over there?

there were problems over there before the last pvd gig, they were lucky to be able to have paul there which seems to be the last time...

i think its turning into apts

I remember hearing about the problems. I know people with tickets were not getting into the event. I don't know if that would cause it to close though...I think that was problems with PVDs event co-ordinator's. Not sure though.

If it's turning into apartments that would be terrible though. Roxy is a GORGEOUS venue. I was there for PVD last Novemeber. I loved the place!

I don't believe it's a regular club setting though is it? B/c it's a roller skating rink during the week I thought.

no vip... just one dance floor. everyone's on the same level. great for large events... imo.

no more roxy makes me sad....

Roxy has been a fun place. I never liked the sound inside and the bouncers were usually dicks, but I have so many memories from there...it's sad if they really turn it into apts. Last time I was there was during that Pvd gig where a lot of ppl couldn't get in, including me. Last time I was inside, that was prob. 2 years ago

like someone said there was no vip bullshit
just one big dance floor, only problem was there was one small ass bathroom and there was always a line and the bar there was always a line but other then that the partys always rocked
i remembered the lasers goin off and it looked like a sea of people when tiesto,pvd,armin etc were there
but yea they have had alot of problems with the law so who knows but i would deff love to see another party there

I dunno what you guys are talking aboout, because there's VIP at Roxy, at least there was for the last PvD gig in November. Also, Christina remembers them roping off VIP sections on the main floor at events she's attended there in the past.

well the only vip were those booths, but there were only maybe 10-15 booths inside the whole club. and i guess its only trance events that don't have roped off sections on the dance floor. i been there around 10 times for either pvd/sasha/tiesto/armin and i've never seen a roped off section on the dance floor for vip.

I thought that area by the wall, on the side of the bar, where you go up the stairs was VIP. It's the one with glass windows. What the crap was that then?

Knocking down Roxy would be a shame. I used to go there all the time...mainly because Friday nights had no cover, but the chicks there were hot and the music was always good.

Roxy was always a skating rink and they always did gay nights on Saturdays.

I miss that place a lot. Definitely my favorite venue in the city.

About the VIP areas, I couldn't even begin to count the number of times I was there, and don't remember seeing any roped off areas ever. Those booths surrounding the dancefloor were never roped off for big events, and that upstairs lounge thing was either hip hop, or just a chill out room during PVD nights.
