I'd love for us to buy cannavaro, buffon and Luca Toni.

United need a great leader that cannavaro would prove to be, van der sar is old and van nistelrooy is on his way out.

Fabio Cannavaro - Lilian Thuram - Gianluca Zambrotta
great players who can just make barca stronger in the back of the field.

every single one of them are better than the correspondent players in my club

Posted by denys envy on Jul-16-2006 00:55:

i think Del Piero will stay with the club...

i chose those, even though Real would never replace Casillas. And im very fond of him as well.

Heres who has been linked to these players:

Gianluigi Buffon - Milan, Arsenal, Man Utd
Fabio Cannavaro - Real, Barca, Chelsea. Man Utd
Emerson - Inter, Real,
Mauro Camaronesi - Bayern Munich, Inter
Patrick Vieira - Arsenal, Man Utd, Real
Luca Toni - Inter, Real, Tottenham
David Trezeguet - Lyon
Alessandro Del Piero - No one will stay with club
Zlatan Imbrahimovich - IBRAHIMOVIC....Inter
Lilian Thuram - Arsenal, Chelsea, Real, Barca
Gianluca Zambrotta - Real, Milan, Inter, Arsenal, Man Utd
Massimo Oddo - No One lol
Pavel Nedved - Monaco, Real, Man Utd, Roma
Adrian Mutu - No One
Other (Please Specify) - I would have put Pandev/Behrami/Pasqual/Montolivo in the list way before Oddo and since Del Piero & Mutu will not be moving.....

Astronica is right Del Piero won't move I can see Nedved not moving either and just a note the chances of all these players leaving are slim. I think from Juve you will see Cannavaro, Trezeguet, Ibrahimovic, Zambrotta, Buffon leave I really can see the others staying. More of a wholesale at Lazio/Fiorentina as they do not have the money to pay the wages as most of the money comes from TV contracts which Serie B has little of

Im surprised Inter arn't linked with Buffon. They need a quality goalkeeper more than any of the big clubs and plus they have the added advantage of offering buffon a stay in Italy without a tarnished image.

We do have Toldo who is old but at one time he and Buffon were 2 of the best keepers in the world. Anyway we really havent been linked yet some stories about it....some Italian transfers go barely wispered and boom done so could be one of those but with Milan in A again I really can see them getting him as Dida sucks and is out of contract end of year.

same here.

ambrotta and Buffon will both go to Ac Milan.

From that list i would take luca toni. Dont really need anyone else. However we are being heavily linked with David Trezeguet and Camronasi.

Not really a fan of trezeguet. Havent seen alot of him but he seems very hit and miss. We have signed enough shit french players, dont know if i want to risk another.

Although there is talk of it being a 2 year loan deal which wouldnt be too bad at all.

Sad to see none of these players are linked to Liverpool... Doh!

Posted by InterMilan31 on Jul-16-2006 22:34:

Camorenesi is not that great of a player but could be great in England the best attribute would be his precise crosses

Trez to Liverpool just came about really. Talk of a done deal to Lyon a few days ago must have died off...

Nedved was linked to Spurs today.

Zambrotta & Buffon both would like to stay in Italy but I think Zambrotta will move to Real and Buffon possibly to one of the Milan clubs.

Roma is a wild card here. Financially they are ok now and with the Champions League play will have money to spend. They have been linked with Trezeguet previously but also may be linked with the following players: Pasqual/Zambrotta/Ibrahimovic.

Fucking annoying to see Buffon linked with AC Milan. He was the player id most loved to have seen at old trafford.

Oh well, another transfer disappointment. Il just take solace from the fact hes not going to arsenal.

Zambrotta would be an intersting acquisition if it does happen. We already have a surplus of left backs in Heinze and Evra and I doubt Fergie will be ballsy enough to tell Neville the fact that hes shit and will have to sit on the bench. Vieira would be fantastic and funny at the same time given his history with united.

Check out the votes for Cannavaro Ben. lol now i understand why you were so ticked of when Inter sold him. What reasoning did they give for doing that btw?

We dont really need any of them. All we need is a striker. So its either going to be Imbrwhatever or trezeguet.

Most italian players look down on the English league. I'd be amazed to see the top players(buffon, cannavaro and zambrotta) move to the PL.

Well with both Buffon and Zambrotta they both want to stay in Italy or second preference would be Spain. Buffon may go to Man Utd but I would be shocked if Zambrotta did. England will get the leftovers from Real & Barcas selections.

Vieira yes he is a great player but him and Emerson were definitly weak last year just would be a concern as both have been linked with Inter so just something to look at.

Cannavaro.....dont get me started most of you know that his name was my old TA handle. Well the reason why Cannavaro left has to do with many things mostly the Calciopoli actually . It has been reported that one of the many transfers for Juve was Moggi infiltrated. Apparently Cannavaro I think was mad at the Crespo transfer to Chelsea and Moggi said we are interested in you and told Fabio how to leave the club giving specific instructions how to unsettle the player what to do bla bla so Inter would be forced to sell and for cheap. Basically he broke the rules. He did what Chelsea did to Ashley Cole but went all the way lol.

Best english style striker from these clubs would definitly be Toni. The rest are not in that EPL style too Crespo like if you get my drift

Posted by SouthernDJ on Jul-17-2006 04:36:

the move of cannavaro from inter to juve is linked with Gea company managed by Moggi son, and as ben told is related to the calciopoli trash. yesterday i heard the news that buffon(milan?), zambrotta ect are thought to go to real, and cannavaro is quite sure he moves to real too as capello called him and convicted not to sign with chelsea, also voices say emerson will go to real. zambrotta is told that is waiting the milan offer before he moves to real.
so real is fucking doing their best to have the best, theyre trying also to take kaka', but hardly milan would let him go, the same as for gattuso and pirlo being asked from manchester.

camoranesi, vieira and another i don't remember are thought to move with inter as they've been linked before, roma also asking camoranesi so dunno what will happen.
maybe I post wrong here?

Posted by InterMilan31 on Jul-17-2006 04:41:

The ones linked with us are the worst and probably the stupidest looking at our current squad

Anyway Gauttuso yesterday said that he has not ruled out staying with Milan. Cannavaro & Zambrotta look set for Real and believed to be taking physicals before Tuesday.

Posted by iammesol on Jul-17-2006 04:44:

since BryanWood isn't here, I'll step in and say Patrick Viera!!!

I heard that as well. Apparently Madrid and United are working on a deal where United back of Buffon and Madrid do the same for Trezeguet. Real try to snap up buffon and if they do, then Casillas goes to United in a deal which includes Ruud and then united pick up Trezeguet.
