Jan Johnston - Sleeping Satellite (Kenneth Thomas Remix)

i know this is a white label and this gem was played during paul oakie's essential mix. prolly one of my fav tracks this year. anyone know the release date or a sample of it anywhere??

That's not a remake of that other Sleeping Satellite track, is it?

^it is, and it's quite catchy...

no release date scheduled as of yet.

It is not a remix of oceanlab - satellite, it is jan johnston - satellite, and has not even been released yet. imo the remix is pretty good, havent heard the orig.

Right, its not a remix/remake of Oceanlab - Satellite

It's a remake of:

Aurora (feat. Naimee Coleman) - Sleeping Satellite

.. which again is a remake as well. The original track is a nice little pop hit Tasmin Archer - Sleeping Satellite all the way from 1992.

Excellent Mix. Will be released this fall from what I hear.

Hated, hated, hated this when it was in the charts back in 1992 (think it reached number 1 here in the uk) so I cringed when i first heard this remake. However gotta say that the track certainly has grown on me!

Thanks for clarifying that up... In my reply I didn't think he was referring to the oceanlab track, but to the tasmin archer track... i didn't realize how many people dont know the origins of this track (it's been remade to death!)

Quality remix here by KT. One of my favorite productions by him....

Yeah it's been remade way too many times already into various genres before the trance versions.

Please yes, maybe going to be the only remix worth listening to.

i really like this remix but i'm curious to hear what the "original" remake sounds like... i'm assuming it'll be on jj's upcoming artist album FINALLY to be released....

TUNE!

Can KT really do any wrong right now?

Posted by Faust_UA on Jul-20-2006 18:46:

Aurora's version of this song was great, Tasmin Archer's one was super, this must be qualitative too. Now I need to check my conjecture

Posted by ThomasNeil on Jul-20-2006 19:25:

If Kenneth Thomas is involved then it's more than likely to be huge, he is one of the best producers of the year so far

Holy shit! Just heard this track... oh... it was big, big mistake... Didn't heard such a big shit since I decided to listen to DJ Aligator's albums ... Just remove beat and vocals from this track and stays nothing, awful building of track IMO...

***Went to listen Aurora's Sleeping Satellite***
