Fly is a *very* cool venue...one of the best in the city, IMHO...when they do it up right.

it's also a gay club...and will have a predominently younger gay crowd for this event (unlike the now crappy regular saturday circuit and tribal nights)

a word of advice for str8 guys who want to go:

you'll be absolutely fine...particularly if you stick to the upper level that overlooks the main dance floor...it's cooler up there anyway and you have more room to dance and hang out. a group of 8-10 people can completely take over the back balcony (my preferred spot) and have a blast without being hit on (much, lol).

wander downstairs into "the pit" that is the main dancefloor though, particularly later on in the night, and you takes yo' chances

I'd be there for this in a heartbeat if we weren't heading out to Montreal for Sundance...Sydney + TK in Fly should be a lot of fun.

I already emailed Sydney for glist I'm not 100% in though, we'll see as the days flow.

Fly's nothing what it used to be, espceically now that their old lighting tech has quit, finally. he was the part of the magic behind what made the Fly Skipper remembers. and he was Damn good at what he did.

Patrick Dream, TK and Sydney in fly will be a good night.

The Pit is the Pit, some people call it home, others avoid it like the plauge, the only recent changes i know o fto Fly is the removal of the couches i've used since i started going to the club, and my friends resignation as lighting director. i gone maybe three times since Sonic opened.. but Fly has been my home away from home for the last three years.
