My first House mix....(god help me)

Ok, here it is..

Oppinions are very very welcome!

(couple of the tracks are from the last Desyin set, and a couple are from Mike Lord's last set) I just wanted to see if I could mix this stuff....

I was told by the Maestro..(GIL)...that I need to hold my mixes longer when mixing House.

sounds fine. house is short... i mix 96 beats min and 128 max. (excluding the cue beat sync adjust)

trance is suppose to be longer imo, melodies are spread out and spacey.

I couldn't listen to it last night. Midnight is not a good time for that type of house. Made me want to go to the beach.

I didnt really like any of the tracks much at all untill fonzarelli - moonlight party...after that it got less "cheesy house" ? I dunno how to put it really...the other tracks just had lame synths.

I like the original mix of Groove In You better...bas plays that one.

Cevin Fisher - The Freaks Come Out (Haji & Emanuel Remix)

^^ fucking nice track.

And Chris Lake mix of discopolis is meh compared to his edit...you should look for the Chris Lake edit. Too bad cause the edit would have gone great with the track before it.

The mixing seemed pretty much fine...like Junior said most of those tracks start and end pretty quickly compared to prog house and stuff.

If you like Desyn, you should check out Luke Fair, Danny Howells, Demi for similar stuffs, or maybe not similar...but good

Hahaha...theres alot of new stuff out since then...alot better house

Me and bas are about to record a pretty housey mix...you might like it.
