if you are good with soldering, you can make it Post instead of Pre. Its rather simple, for directions, just email the techs at A&H. They are very responsive.
yes it's broken send it to me.
(that was the main feature i looked for when getting a new mixer and the only possible candidates i found were xone:62, xone:92 and vestax pcv-175. i went with the vestax as i'm not filthy rich. IMO it's a brilliant feature)
The new model/ revision, with a knob to control master volume rather than slider, is post eq rather than pre.
Cause ive got one and its defiently post.
Just to clear that up for people wondering.
And ive also heard people contacting A&H and recieving instructions to modify your 62 from post to pre or pre to post.
I wish my mixer did that.
Not sure why you need EQ pre mix anyway...
Cheers
Nem
i like to hear my eq in my headphones before i mix because i get a better mix out of it, esp with the fuckin 4 bacnd eq, which i am starting to hate, i prefer the way my djm 300 works with the cueing aspect, and when i play out i play on a 500 or 600, and when i go home and mix i dont have that option with the xone. i would like to get rid of my xone and get a 500 or preferably 600 for my home set-up. just personal preference i guess. thanks for the replies, and not flaming. so the only way i can fix that is to solder it then eh? that or new mixer.
most top end mixers dont have post EQ and cue/master knob

my xone 92 is the same way (pre, not post)... i got it about 1.5 years ago.
i think it's nice to be able to turn up the bass in your phones on a track that has a weak kick when you're trying to beatmatch. but then again, i'm a noob
you can just sell the mixer to me matt...

ya sure kyle, $175.00 for sure!! lol.
i actually figured out the problem, im kind of an idiot actually.
i can hear the eq in my headphones if i have the cue button turned off. so if i am mixing a track i can just set my cue point, then turn the cue off, and then hear the track with full eq in my headphones. i always just kept the cue on the whole time like with other mixers. i now enjoy my mixer a little bit more.

i was gonna give you 200 now you missed out
fuck, i just sold it for $50.
I don't really see this as a huge deal. Yes, some tracks may have a weak kick or hihat to begin with, but that can be solved just as easily by cranking the gain or cue volume.
