I played in an all day football tournament earlier today, and I have never been so badly fucking BURNT in all of my life. I have caught the sun very badly all over my body, except for these 2 pathetic looking white patches where my shin pads were on all day.

I am in pain and look a right tit.

Its boiling here, I dunno whats the deal with this heat wave.

I could walk 100m to the beach, but I'd burn to a crisp.

Or I could just sit here with the big ceiling fan on and the desk fan blowing right in my face.

At least you don't have humidity.

yea im sure that must suck, but I'd still take it over a freezing office.

Posted by StanVoid on Jul-17-2006 14:17:

nothing beats a nice long walk from your door to a subway station in New York's 100F / 100% humidity weather. And just when you break out a sweat from all the walking, you can cool off in the even hotter and steamier station, waiting for your train.

NYC summers are awesome.

Posted by igottaknow on Jul-17-2006 14:21:

no a/c here either, but like the frog i'm starting to get use to this shit lets just hope i don't get cooked

Posted by Slylee on Jul-17-2006 14:22:

omg, how do you people have no AC? is it broken? or you just don't have it installed into your house/apt?

i would friggin DIE without AC down here. i have mine at 70 degrees at all times...except during the day when no one is home and i put it at like 77.
