Earplugs?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I hate that ringing in the ears for days after an awesome event.

I've decided to invest in a decent pair of earplugs. Just wondering what the best kind is, and where I could possibly buy these.

I don't want to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars, but a decent amount to protect the ears.

You guys have any recommendations? Thanks!

Last minute shoppers drugmart for me, although I know for sure some people on this site do have non-disposable ones ordered from a website, try searching for the thread.

And you could always try the family doctor, maybe OHIP would cover them.

soft ear for the win. best plug on the market, doesnt muffle too bad but doesnt let your ears ring for days either...

If your willing to shell out $150-$200 I greatly recommend custom fitted plugs. I own a pair and they are definetly the way to go. The foam plugs, or even the better non-disposable plugs seem to muffle and distort the sound, while the customs provide the best results. The amount your paying doesnt even compare to having damaged or even lost hearing.

i tried using them at G2 and didn't like them...my ears don't like earplugs... i have big ears

just ask Security in any of the rooms at Guv if they have a pack they can spare, thats what i did and they worked amazing, too bad i threw out the package i have temporary hearing loss on one side, its slowly coming back, but those were a god send, it was painfully loud in there at G2 and the didnt muffle the sound at all, if anything there was little or no noise, and i could hear voices better than without them

+1

I guess it takes a lot more energy to stick "earplugs" on the search page than it does to think up a thread and then click "submit thread".

there is no excuse for laziness. Not to mention I think writing "earplugs" in the search thread is less time consuming then creating an entire thred! Haha

anyway what concert?

Elacin ER-20's are the best if you just want something to use at clubs, i use them at the minute & they do the job fantastically.

If you're going to be using them full time (if you work in the industry or around loud music a lot of the time) then it might be worth investing in some moulded ear plugs, which retail for about 160 over here

In Toronto they are $200 CA$.

......... Ashlee Simpson ...

I bought the wife tickets for our anniversary

The concert was suprisingly really loud, from the little girls screaming...and that is the result of my earplug inquiry...

I know...I know...what kind a say.

The only upside was that there were sooo many hot chicks. I was shocked to see how many fine girls love Ashlee.

But I plan on getting the GF back. We're going to Europe next year around May going to visit Amsterdam and am going to make her go to so many concerts!

PS. She dislikes all forms of EDM.
