Be Cool! Giuseppe Ottaviani - Through Your Eyes

MASSIVE!!! Anyone know when this is getting released? Any other fans of this track? I remember PVD playing this at Cream and it just exploding Amnesia! I took a video of that and the megatron going off!! Wikkid stuff!

Cheers,
Terry

sample?

it's on eddie halliwells new mix cd. It sounds really good on there, but hearing it on an mp3 it sounded very typically nu-nrg, ie. lacking a good kick/bassline.

doesn't touch Linking People, but not bad.

Yup. Heard it from Halliwell's Cream Ibiza CD. I can see myself dancing my arse off to it once I grow to it I think.

The tune is good. The problem with it though is that it sounds like many of the other tunes that a lot of DJs play along with it. Just my personal opinion but if you stuck a song before and after it that sounded nothing like this tune than the impact of it will be 5x greater but put two songs that had the same key and sounded perfectly mixxed into it you would instantly forget about it.

I think its a pretty overated and bland track. But its another one of those tunes that will get abolsutly massivbe because of the over hype they have recieved. Quite similar to how Exactly by JOC and KEanrey wasnt a patch on Restricted Motion yet its became a much bigger tune. The mirror of this being Linking People and Through Your Eyes

or the fact your opinion is subjective, as I find the 2 "inferiror" tracks to be better than the others you mentioned.

i agree on that

does anybody like the last nu nrg track: kosmosy

This track is better than any Nu NRG release to me.

Incredibly powerful and overwhelming

Komosy actually, downloaded it from vonyc.com/, awesome track imo, I also heard it was the last track Nu Nrg produced together. Definitely worth picking up, a little more downtempo than some of their other stuff, kinda like Freefall.

Through Your Eyes was alright, I'm really liking one of Giuseppe's new remixes of a Sean Tyas track, forgot the name though. It was on Giuseppe's homepage (member access page) but it's not up anymore.

edit: my bad, maybe it is kosmosy, my downloaded file from vonyc of kosmosy says komosy, so they changed it within the past day, hmm strange.

Nah last track they did together was their Playground remix

Kosmosy is an excellent track, but that release was tarnished because of the hacking Giu did to Last Experience, and refused to remake the original like the fans wanted.

This is quite nice and a lot better than "Linking People".

awesome track, best solo-track of ottaviani

It's okay, but Lift is still my favorite new uplifting tune.

By the way, I saw a tracklist by some dude here on TA and he called it Flow instead of Lift. Why? IS it called both?

thank christ i'm not the only one on the planet to notice this, i really don't like giuseppe's habit of cutting out everything below about 80hz; it's just a lazy shortcut to achieving clean production. problem is on alot of clubsystems it's unnoticeable due to the way they're EQ'd, although heaven in london was an exception; saw him play live there a few weeks ago & since it's normally really boomy & bassy the difference was really clear

I've noticed it on many nu-nrg things, it seems overbalanced towards the high end, leaving little to no bass or kick, which esp with a lot of pvd type tunes would sound way out of place
