Deep Dish @ Ruby Skye anyone...???

Did anyone go see Deep Dish last night? If you did how were they? If you took some pictures post them up. I didn't know that the damn show was going to be sold out so I didn't get my ticket expecting to buy them at the door. I even took got off work early so I can see them spin. That pisses me off because the last time I checked Ticketweb they were still tickets availible.

WOW sold out???ruby is a pretty big club, even on big nights like Tenaglia or Tiesto I have never heard of it being "sold out"....pretty impressive for deep dish

last time i went to deep dish (dubfire only) @ ruby skye i made the mistake of buying a ticket at the door. i got there at 11 and the line was around the block. i waited for 2 hours and didn't get in until 1am. at the back of the line the cover was $25... a half hour later the bouncer starts walking around the line announcing tickets are now $30. by the time i was in the front, tickets were $35.

so yeah, yesterday i cut my hand up pretty badly and due to all the bleeding i was really tired so i passed out. i woke up at 9 and the presales ($40) were sold out. i wasn't about to do a repeat of last year so i just went to a club in town last night and got shitty with some friends. i hope i didn't miss much :\

I happen to drive by last night and the line was pretty long. Gotta figure Deep Dish can have potential to attract a crowd (a friend at Apple even said a big group was going)...but honestly the last time at RS it was such a snoozer. Morillo and DD at Subliminal night in Ibiza or Miami...that's another story.

I got some pics and videos. I will load them later today. Ruby Skye was out of control last night. Kaskade was awesome, but wow...DD tore Ruby Skye up. Sharam hit the decks at 1am and they switched off throughout the set. DD was still spinning at 4:45am when I left, so I am guessing they went until 5am. The crowd was still pretty thick when I left. Also, Oakenfold came to Ruby Skye to hang out after his show. He was on the stage for quite some time... pics are coming shortly...

Yup

We went last night but we got there late, around 3 or so. The music was proggy, tech house, there were some really dope tracks but I don't know if it's us but the music there always sounds so muffled & annoyingly loud, nevertheless we always have a good time, just have to stock up on the earplugs ouch!

umm tiesto has been sold out the last several times he has played at ruby. both nights in may were sold out way in advance

yeah ruby was out of control packed...great time tho and sick set by deep dish.

we actually went to see oakey and kenneth thomas at the fillmore from 9-1:30 and kenneth was sick as hell and oakey actually did a good job only wrecking a couple times. he played a lot of old skool tunes too which was dope but his little hand gestures and act he does while spinning is kinda lame and at 1:30 he just stops the music and leaves with no encore. so the lights come on and we go to ruby...

we get to ruby at 2am-ish and get right in and had a great time and it was funny seeing oakey there and deep dish saying on the mic 'san francisco we have a special guest in the house, give it up for paul oakenfold! he has a new album out!' lol

sucks about your hand rich sorry you didn't make it and diskodave we mustve just missed you because my pics were taken at the same place yours were including when oakey was there, lol

anyways at 4am we decide to leave and go to the end up which was cool and a great place to chill and i havent been to in years. greatest part was at 5am we were on the dancefloor and some guys go up to my girl and my boys wife and ask them if they want to meet deep dish, and they take them over to the entrance seating and both guys from deep dish are chilling with their entourage. we follow and meet them and all chill until 6am when they start serving alcohol again and we all get hammered with deep dish

deep dish and posse were sooo looking for girls to take with them to have their way with, including our girls, lol. anyways we left there after we started to sober up and realized we were dead to the world at around 9-10am and go back to our friends house in east bay where i proceed to sleep 12hrs.

fun weekend! can't wait to do it again!
