GIANT Village Rrrrrreview!!
Omg, what a flippin FUN night that was! JZ & Digweed kicked major ass!! I danced my ass off so hard to JZ's set, I burned atleast 1,000 calories just in that 2 hrs 
!! I tried to go to the other stages for a bit, but the music was way better at the flower stage! Digweed played some sick tunes, but i can't ID any of them. 
(sorry, my review sucks). Well, he did play a really good remix of nathan fake- outhouse, and he played alot of tracks from james holden's rosegarden set.
I guess more later, and pics later. I need to go back to sleep now!

From what I saw of Zabiela I saw he kicked ass, and while his breaks were fun, Hybrid's set was on another level. They were amazing, and it helped they played their new single Just For Today and I think that REM - Great Beyond remix. Getting to talk w/ them a bit about their Chronicles of Narnia remix was cool also. After them went back for Digweed. I love diggers but the first hour was a little too build up type music for me w/ the occasional thumper sprinkled here n there for good measure. Last 1 1/2 hrs were more charged but that Hybrid set was unreal... Anyone catch Deep Dish, I saw like 10 min, seemed fun but Digweed was calling me.
EDIT: Anyone check the back of their Giant schedule card, Sasha and Digweed and Jimmy Van M for Giant '07 NYE...

Big gripe of the night though...lack of water. Considering the temperature records that were being broken all over California, they'd have stockpiled more water.

from what i understood, the evacuating london (narnia) track will not see an official release. Alas, we are only left w/ the Kiss 100 set from February. If anyone has any other rips please share the wealth haha.

zabiela, jimmy & digweed were so freaking good. especially digweed for the last hour nice to see the usuals and meet a couple knew ones 
earlier in the night i bumped into zabiela and i asked him if he or digweeed were gonna be at the mayan and he told me 'maybe' but alas, no zabz or diggers 
kazell was awesome as usual but the guy that went on before him stole the show. bumping some hard deep dark tribal house. does anybody know who that was? all in all, it was a great night, can't wait for sasha and digweed in 07!!!!
ps- the ferris wheel was fun but DAMN that thing moves fast

i'm kinda scared to see some of the pics I took cuz I was sweating really badly from all the dancing i did. The heat was so bad. They needed to invest in some huge fans. Oh well.
haha. i HAD a good cell phone camera up until friday night when my friends threw me in the pool. now i don't have a flash. ghey!
and ya it was way too hot last nite but i didn't mind. i was buying waters 2 at a time. i must have drank 10 of em (and like 10 beers and 5 shots)
did anyone catch the crystal method? fakkkkin ay they were drunk. those guys cant mix for shit but they def. drop some electro break bombz
^^^^ i didnt see crystal method, but thank god i didn't waste time on them!! honestly, i tried out the other stages and saw a few mins of each dj, but i wasnt feeling it. oakey was playing his usual fluffy cheesey trance. deep dish played that one hip hop song called "crazy", and he played madonna- hung up (how much more commercialized can u get?). markus shulz was playing pretty good... saw him for about 30 mins. but in the back of my mind, i was thinking, "damn, i wonder what sick track digweed is playing right now?".... so back i went to the flower stage.
i can't believe how much i danced! wow, such a good work out! luckily i wore tennis shoes, or else i wouldnt have been able to make it through the night. i felt so short, but whatever!!

I was so drunk I kept getting lost. I would leave digweed to go check out and I would wander around through the crowd and find the GIANT STAGE then I would try to find HOPE and end back up at FLOWER.

Zabiela was playing some nice tracks, definately lived up to expectation from what i've heard of him on streams and such, never seen him live. Digweed of course was money like usual.
But imo, Matthew Dekay and Christopher Lawrence was where it was at. Dekay had a siiiiiiiiiiiiick opening track, dont know the name of it, and played some nice stuff i haven't heard before throughout his set. And Lawrence was just playing hard shit for his entire set almost, was a fucking blast at his stage for the later part of the night to closing.
I'm glad i went, was a ton of fun and a ton of dancing.
