Diablo 2

Anyone still plays ? I just bought it with the expansion, and am playing on the battlenet

playing it right now

For some reason i newer really got into D2. Dont know why i just didnt like it. I loved the first one, which i completed once with every character (including those that came in the expansion pack) but D2 newer did anything fro me.

BEST GAME EVAR.

stopped playin a while ago tho, but i had couple of breaks before too, so might get back into it.

barbs ftw.

I was so hooked on that game when it first came out. You should also try Guild Wars - it's very similar to D2.

i was playing this with a few buds for a few months, I had a bnet and realm server running... good times... but then a power outage blew the hard drive on my server and it all went down the drain

gonna set this back up soon though, about time for another D2 run

damn and i'm always happy as fuck when i find a unique item, never had a game that gives me that pleassure after havin replayed it so often.

It might be time for me to have another round too. Nothing is more fun than having an amplify damage curse that covers the whole sceen and teleporting 37 minions on top of someone

A question though... I'm currently on a wireless connection with no other choice for a network (damn complex ) and they refuse to open ports for online games. Does Diablo 2 on bnet require that you allow connections not initiated by you, or is that not an issue?

Man 1.09 was the shit. Roots pindle bot galore, hacked charms, amazing character customization. Those were the good days.

I will most likely get back into this game, maybe after i get bored of starcraft.

I uninstalled, deleted and gave the cds to my brother just in that way I gave up as I was spending more hours than your

Static field is your friend!

not a big help at hell, its limited to only drain half of the enemies lifepoints..
there are a lot of enemies with resitances vs two elements at once or even complete magical resistance. so i am forced to skill my sorc in every element, that sucks and its still very very hard sometimes..
duriel i.e. takes.. lemme guess, 1h+ and many dead rakus to beat w/ shootin, running in town portal, shootin...
well.. once i nearly made it to the end but i wasnt able to kill that last boss before baal in the throne room.. listat or what he is called. his health regeneration is faster then im dealing damage to him and i think its impossible (at least for me) to beat him with sorc in single player.. remember you dont have full elite equip etc..

in the end, even if it is possible to make it, its more frustrating then to be fun.. normal/nightmare is ok for me

play on battlenet, you are bound to win with a sorc

Solo sorc is hard through nightmare unless you got a good merc. Should level a merc, get him low level from A2 Normal with the ice aura and level him up. Give him reapers toll that causes decreipify, some reduce damage % armor, such as shaftstop, and vamp gaze for some good life leech. You'll be good thru nightmare. Or if you play on bnet, partner up with a pally with conviction aura, and you'll be doing some wonderful damage.

I used to play Diablo 2 + expansion. If I remember correnctly I was pretty hooked on it. I wished and waited for a Diablo 3 but it never came, so I moved on. Only thing close is Titan Quest I believe. I think I'm gonna just try out World of Warcraft sometime in the next few months, though I worry about its addictive qualities.

Its a good game, my addiction for that game came to a point where it almost got me fired. The more you play that game, the more you need to play to keep up with the game. So I no longer play it anymore, even though all my friends does nothing else but play that game. =(

Used to play a lot, then got very bored. Haven't picked it up in two years now. May want to go back to it though.

psshh, wtf? sorc is the easiest and it's infact easy with every char.
and to the guy who was saying "root pindle bot hacked
charms" i can say, dude, wtf? it isn't interesting to play with cheats, u're not happy if u found smth valuable with a bot. pshh

you can get to Baal w/o killing him.

Make a TP in the throne room.

Lead Lister and all his dudes to the steps. Run all the way back up to the waypoint in the worldstone a few floors up, go to town, and then come back in through your portal to the throneroom.

Baal will see you and none of his guys nearby and go into his portal.

uuuhh, that'd be too cool. cheers dude. will test it as soon as i finished elder scrolls oblivion. gimme some months
