Favorite Hybrid Album

Hey guys,

I ran a quick search and didn't find anything on topic, so I apologize if this is rehashed material.

I'm kind of getting into breaks, and thought I'd buy (with whatever measly money I can scrub up) a Hybrid album, since everyone on the site seems so positive about them. I've heard the odd track dropped in sets here and there -- I Know and Finished Symphony come to mind -- though haven't actually heard an artist album.

If I've only got the dough for one, which would you recommend?

It seems they have what, just two + a Y4K DJ mix?

Morning Sci-Fi
Wide Angle

Wide Angle seems to have gotten the best reviews on Amazon, but I don't trust the reviews there all that much. I suppose I could just bust the bank account on both, but I'm quite broke.

Anyway, any advice would be most welcome! I feel I'm taking a big step as an EDM fan tonight. hehe.

I dont know, there both good. But if i were to choose just one. I'd pick
"Morning Sci-Fi". for sure. Many here would probably disagree with me. But i like more tracks off this Album than from "Wide Angle".

In my opinion Morning Sci-Fi has some good vocal tracks.

And well "Wide Angle" has "Finished Symphony" a Classic.

But you owe it to your self to listen to both Albums.

Cheers

Wide Angle is the better album imo. I didnt even like Morning Sci-fi when i first listened to it but after a while i realised it was a masterpiece just like the first but just not quite to the same level.

Considering Wide Angle was released in 99 it still sounds as new and fresh as anything out now.

But yeah u need to get both really, plus I Choose Noise when its released in Sept

oh and they have their Remix and Additional Production album too

If you are getting "Wide Angle" you might as well get "Wider Angle", which is the 2cd edition. The 1st cd of Wider Angle and Wide Angle are exactly the same. However the 2nd cd of Wider Angle includes a live set, plus some bonus tracks, definitely worth it IMO.

Cheers guys!

Wider Angle is like $15.something on Amazon, so looks like that's the way I'm gonna go.

Aside from Way Out West's Don't Look Now album, any other breaks (or similar) gems I should know of?
