annoying neighbor

OK COR I have got a really annoying neighbor above me! This nasty punta comes outside every night between 945 and 1015 and talks for about a hours real loud and she has this laugh like some kinda of farm animal. Im like I have to get up at 6am shut the hell up right. Well my girlfriend has yelled out the door and said shut the fuck up but she talks so loud she didnt hear it. So im going to take things to another lever if she wont shut up after i talk to them today. I was thinking a air horn or something. any ideas?

i know it's really annoying and my mom has been going through the same thing. her neighbor sits on the patio drinking wine and yacking and laughing like a hyena all night long and my mom has pounded on the walls and been real bitchy to her but it didn't really work out. it causes bad tension and they were leaving letters on each other's doors for like a week each defending their side. it was so stupid.

anyway, my point is that you will probably get a much better reaction if u just go over there with a cheap bottle of wine and talk to her...give her the wine, let her know ur not trying to start a war or anything, but explain that u have to be up early and that her phone habits (talking outside) are keeping you up at night. ask her to please keep it down and suggest that she talk on her couch in the livingroom with the windows shut. remind her that u guys share a wall (i'm assuming u live in an apt. building) and that she doesn't live on a farm.

if it continues after that, well then it's fuckin ON!

I do live in a Apt. I wont buy her anything. Im just going to be like look you are loud at night and your voice comes right into my bedroom and i cant sleep and i want you to keep it down. I think she talks outside b/c she has 2 kids that are very little and she dont want to wake them up. If she wont shut the hell up im going to blow a air horn at her i think.

ok dont buy her wine, maybe that was too much. but at least start off by being nice. that way, if she doesn't knock it off, u can say that you tried to be civil about it, but she ignored u, thus justifying the air horn you're going to start blowing. hahahaha

1. Does your apartments have a curfew time that ppl are supposed to be quiet?

(Mine does, it's 10pm)

If they do, then complain to the apartment staff.

I had this happen to me, a noisy neighbor partying every night, well I complained 3 times, and evidently, there were others that complained as well, the guy was forced to move out shortly after.

thanks god my apartment doesn't have a curfew! phew!!! I play loud ass music at 12midnight to 3am at least - sometimes even later! u gotta love concrete apartment buildings, espeically when you are 26 levels up!!!
