imho cyclist are all overpumped, all
i think that a man can't make 200 km every day for 3 weeks at 40 kmh. it's out the of the nature. i think that a cyclist must take drug, to do that sport

Real dedicated cyclists bust their ass on the road, 100% pure effort, no 'aids' whatsoever. Landis thought he could get away with it. Americans...I personally think that Armstrong uses too, still he denies everything they say about him in France
No sport goes without drugs

landis is clearly an idiot if he thought he could get away with doping and mello_head don't link his stupidity with americans, give us some credit
i don't think armstrong used performance enhancing drugs. how come when athletes excel exceptionally at a sport the general public subconsciously labels them a cheater? lance was one of the greats and should be respected.

Could this be a false accusation... I don't know... I was pretty bummed when I first heard about it today... just because I want another AMERICAN dominating the Tour de France....

Le ROI... no doubt about it!
amazing news, certainly would explain his turn around from breaking on the previous stage to doing that mammoth solo victory.
I was shocked and saddened to see the news this morning. What a douche bag if it's true. Really lame! I was very happy to see another American win but this makes me feel embarrassed. Yet, it has nothing to do with "Americans." There's 290 million Americans... yeah we are all just liars, dope dealers, and cheats.
As for Lance, he's considered to be the world's most tested athlete. He won for 7 freaking years and was tested and tested each time but never failed one. Then, with each accusation, he desperately tried to fight each one. You can tell cheaters by those that don't fight like Barry Bonds and the other baseball guys who don't do anything or go into hiding. Lance is still on the forefront out there in front of everybody taking it on. Please don't disrespect the man until something was proven, I think he's earned that.

"Cycling is dead"

I was happy when I saw an American winning it, just to piss off the French. But, its not like the French have any great cyclists, so who really gives a crap. But this is sad to hear, what a moron.
I say we need Lance back!!!
So he could win a couple more
He cant even read a speach, convincing

Maybe he is guilty as charged, maybe he is not. But let's not go convicting him just yet.
My concern is simple, they test the riders after each and every stage of the tour and God knows there are alot of them. yet he only tested positive on one day? Maybe I am wrong, but last time I checked drugs do not leave your system in one day and will show up in tests for quite some time. If that is accurate, the one positive test with all others being negative would not make any sense at all.
Moreover it seems that what they found was that his testosterone levels (a naturally occuring substance within males) were high compared to other levels in his system or something to that effect. Yet not everyone's testosterone levels are the same, and one would expect athletes to naturally have higher levels.
So I will reserve judgment until they conclusively establish that he actually used performance enhancing drugs.
And for those that say that is why he made that brilliant comeback after a bad stage. Let me remind you of the Miami Heat and Dwayne Wade. They were down 2 games to 0 to Dallas and losing by around 20 points in the 3rd quarter of game 3. Then all of a sudden Dwayne Wade and the entire team woke up and won 4 straight games. Does this mean that Pat Riley was shooting up the entire team on the sidelines? Of course not, they just came back, which happens.
