The Best cities for singles...
Forbes came out w/ its yearly rankings for the best cities for singles in the US.
La was ranked at 19. What happened???
The top 10 cities are:
1) Denver-Boulder
2) Boston
3) Phoenix
4) San Francisco-Oakland
5) New York City
6) Raleigh-Durham, N.C.
7) Seattle
8) Austin
9) Washington, D.C.
10) Miami
They took into account everything and not just the nightlife. I kind of agree with it b/c I've visited some of these places and they are indeed fun in their own right.
I think LA use to be cool, but over the years its become a little to superficial and shallow. Please this isnt an attack on the So cal TA's, I mean the LA singles scene in general. The TA's are cool and nice and remind me of people on the top 10 list above.

what does "everything" mean? cost of living, air quality, crime rate???
can we get some stats supporting this generic list of cities? 
SF needs to be out of that list.
Friendly people? For sure. Go any further, and it's a lot of cold shoulders or smug people.
