Anyone into hardcore?

Well, I've never really posted in this forum. I just lurk.
Tranceaddict forum never fails to amaze me... Maybe someone here might be into hardcore and might be going to Quebec City tomorrow night?!!?

I AM

first time, ever. I'm getting excited plus nervous.

here is the flyer. [i'm not sure if i'm allowed to do this- OH WELL]

I think I might live in Montreal - one day... once I can learn to speak french

oh p.s. it's obvious you guys have a much better scene than we do over here. i'll randomly bump this thread from time to time.

its an interesting scene...

never been to one of their parties... maybe i should

I went one time in this kind of party between 2002-2003, and it was a very interesting party.

For sure, you need to like the music... 150BPM that's not easy to dance. loll

ok! i'll post a mini review when i come back! i'm suppose to be sleeping

Posted by dJ_aXel on Jul-28-2006 05:45:

hardtrance is 150bpm...

hardcore would be more over 165-170bpm.

quebec city is the only place in quebec that u can get 1000ppl for an underground party nowadays...

Posted by Misanthrope on Jul-28-2006 10:35:

so I never bothered posting a review. I did have a motherfuckin awesome time. I fucking feel in love with Quebec City. wow. The party kicked ass and I was fortunate enough to happen to two with two kick ass people [not on TA].

I still dream about being there. What a totally different vibe. QC fucking rawks.

Im assuming in this part the forum you can randomly post event listings.

here is the next flyer i saw.
I might be in attendance.

Speaking from personal experience, no other hardcore producer out there has influenced me like Ophidian. I remember picking up his first ever vinyl release at ABM records in 2000. Since then I have eagerly awaited every one of his new releases to hear his latest innovations in the hardcore sound. His biggest success is no doubt the Butterfly VIP. This track is so incredible, I had tears in my eyes the first time I heard it. His follow-up 3 part series on enzyme records was just as incredible. Tracks like Mako, and The Middle Children hammered the nail in his title as hardcore pioneer. I for one, am FUCKING HYPED to see this guy live and be one of the first to experience his unreleased, and brand new tracks. And of all places, Quebec City, where every year the crowd exceeds 1k easily on Halloween. At Versus 5 in 2004, the crowd passed 2000 easily. It was amazing.

Don't miss out, on what will be a night that will live forever in the hearts and minds of everyone who attends!

The question is: is that POSSIBLE?
Every 2nd beat is still WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too fast imo...
