Police surveyed the crowd of 1,000 Idol onlookers gathered just before 8 p.m. and, after inspection, said no noise bylaws had been compromised. CTV confirmed the story, adding "they were amused."

The fact that the cops would even respond is pretty sad.

Kudos to the cops though for not laying charges... but i wonder if the same thing would have been the case had it been a nightclub?

too many complainers. why can't people have fun any more.
too many old fogies who want quiet and nothingness.

i saw on the news the other day, a bunch of people are gathering around random neighbourhoods to play manhunt. like tag but if you get caught, you are it until everyone is it. if there is a pub, you can go get a drink while playing and do what ever. sounds cool and we should try it one day.

Can you imagine what will happen in 10 years when half of this city goes into retirement?

this noise by law crap is going to run the night life dry like toast

I guess the gov't is right - drugs DO have negative long term effects, namely losing the ability to tolerate anything, as we're seeing now.

its actually a game where people play at night in a huge neighbourhood or part of a city. you can hid or run anywhere as long as its legal.

i think she's lying....call the cops!!!!

man, we should move all the old people to another city.

I mean, they walk really really slow on the subway when I'm late for class.
They virtually can't walk downstairs, yet they still attempt to, causing a 'traffic jam' everytime.
They're always lost and don't know where they're going.
A lot of them are disgruntled and rude.
They often fart with out shame.

We should set them free in an "african-lion safari" style city.

Not to mention they're a hazard to everyone on the road everytime they sit behind the wheel.

at least we dont have shhhhhhhhhhh police like in switzerland
